so ive been applying for internships this summer and aiigoo i only got one response
the company gave me this message below
"So long as you get at least a 50% on CSS, 70% on dreamweaver, 40% on photoshop and 30% on flash, we will take you."
right now i only how to use css dreamweaver and photoshop like i have experience but im no where near those levels especially with flash

Hi,
It depends on what they're looking for (and how soon?) -- Learning Flash, the program, is fairly easy. Learning the programming language that drives most Flash based websites can be a little more tricky, especially if you have no prior programming experience. If you're familiar with Javascript or other oop languages, Actionscript will be a breeze to pick up.
Here is what I would recommend: Pick up some books. If you're interested in Actionscript, I would recommend Moock's "Actionscript for Flash MX - Second Edition" published by O'Reilly. It's considered the Actionscripting bible for most people who work with Flash. If you're trying to learn the program itself, there are numerous books that are available. I'd recommend picking up one with a lot of pics (just so it's easier to follow)...
But that's just me~
Regardless, GoodLuck with the internship!!!!

I think the %s are related to the amount of "knowledge" you have pertaining to each application. So, they're looking for someone who knows 30% of Flash, 70% of Dreamweaver, and so on...
NyXpun - one thing I would check out for Dreamweaver are editable templates. They're something you learn in class (maybe you will -- I've taken classes where they were completely ignored...) but will hardly ever use until you begin working with clients (freelancing) or for a company. Again, good luck!

see that dosen't make sense, how can you have 30& knowledge of flash and 70% knowlege of dreamweaver. that just sounds strange and funny.
