Ok, so my hair has been very staticy lately.

I know using a moisturizing conditioner or something should fix it.. but those conditioners always make my hair oily after couple hours. sad.gif

I was wondering if anyone has any solutions?
Like any hair serums that could get rid of this or something.

Thanks in advance. ^^

Take one of those dryer sheets and use that to take out the static in your hair. smile.gif

I heard that sleeping on a silk pillowcase/scarf helps.

Haha yes dryer sheets work wonders xD
I was having that same problem and that's what my hair dresser told me to do ^^

It doesn't seem to last too long for me however.
But it is a quick fix. =]

hmm.. well.. i've been changing shampoos / conditioners a LOT lately
& i found that some make my hair more static-y than others...
(and my hair gets static-y VERy easily)

for a quick fix, this ALWAYS works..
(i tell my friends this & it works for them too!)

first, put lotion on your HANDs and rub it in..
as if you were normally putting lotion on ur hands

then, rub ur hands in your hair until all the static
DISAPPPEARs ;D<3 it works all the time..
but.. dont put the actual lotion in ur hair... it'll be gross. HAha

it even works when ur pants get static-y to ur legs.
hope this helps :]

Haha that's so freaky. I just did that, because I was wondering if it would do anything, and it did! xD

Thanks to everyone that replied.
I already knew about the dryer sheet thingy but sometimes I don't like the smell of our dryer sheets. sad.gif

Buy static guard, spray a little on your hairbrush then brush your hair.

You can find static guard in the detergent/laundry aisle. smile.gif

I use to have this problem a lot before...

My hair gets like that after I straighten it. I use apply just like a drop or so of Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops. It usually costs around $13. You can get it at CVS or any hair salon place.

Also, instead of putting on conditioner in the shower, I just use shampoo. Afterwards, while my hair is still wet, I put in Garnier leave-in conditioner. (this is on days that you don't use a straightener, curling iron, etc.)
^I get this at Wal-Mart. It's around $10

sleeping on a silk pillow (something that isn't cotton --> cotton makes your hair bad or something --> it collects oil, etc. so when you sleep on it again, you get oil on your hair)
use conditioner
use a dryer sheet

bring a hair spray or something

i think if there's any type of "water" or vapor
around you, it's gonna get the static out of the way
you don't neccesarrily have to spray it on your head.

hope that helps x]
