Since there is a thread about pics of your apartments, I figured we also need a thread on where to BUY all those cool things people are showing in their pics! My lease begins June 1 and I need to find a cheap bed, does anyone know where to find cheap things for your bedroom? So far IKEA seems the be the cheapest frame and mattress I could find. Or craiglist but any other options?

craigslist is my ultimate favorite resource, but that's mostly because i live in the bay area where there are a lot of people on it and a lot of deals. other craigslists are pretty dead in comparison. at my college there was an online marketplace where students could post sales for textbooks, furniture, tutors, etc... and that was a really great resource too, especially at the end of the school year, when so many students were moving away and would sell stuff for cheap.
for not-online stuff, i like IKEA for furniture and target for accessories, because target's furniture can be surprisingly expensive. in my college days i would also peruse bulletin boards in libraries and student unions for moving sale ads.

Wal Mart, K Mart, and Target. That's about it in my area so that's all I can suggest.
For the bed, just get a futon and sleep old school Asian style, but that's only if your used to it; or you can just sleep on the couch and forget the bed.
