they teach beatmaking tutorials in some issues of future music and computer music magazines

its pretty simple depends on what though... u can get a triton, etc depends on how much you willing to spend.. which has samples, etc and dont need a computer program, but can be hooked up to a computer to make it better.. ... or just a simple midi keyboard from maudio, etc.. to trigger keys for programs such as reason, fruity loops, etc.... if you really wanna learn you can teach yourself... its not that hard.. play with your ears... not alot of producers out there can read notes.. they use there ears.. which i do in most cases.. all you do i open up reason or watever... trigger your drums, samples watever to your midi keyboard... and press away.... and yea youtube has alot of tutorial....
