These may seem like weird questions, but your answers will help determine a lot of things for my paper, so if you can help, THANK YOU!

1) Say you are going out for an elegant evening and have the choice between diamond studs or pearl earrings. Which do you choose? Does it depend on the outfit or the affair? If so, what kind of outfit/affair/etc constitutes wearing diamonds? Wearing pearls?

2) What kind of person do you associate with wearing pearls? (like for me, I think sorority girl)

3) For those who do wear pearls: What do you like about pearls (whether over diamonds or not)? Do you feel a certain way when you put them on? (For me, I have a lot of funky earrings...but more often than not, I'll reach for my pearl earrings b/c I feel more sophisticated. I also get a LOT more compliments for my simple, REAL pearl earrings than for my funkier, fake earrings)

4) Where did you get your pearl earrings/necklace/etc? (Did you buy it, was it passed down, a gift, etc). Does the WHERE or HOW you got it make them more or less special to you?

I'd choose diamond studs. I love being a diva, dress like a diva, act like a diva, so wherever I go, even if its an elegant evening, I've gotta put my diva personality into the outfit....

Pearls remind me of old white people, all serious and are there at the party for business social matters.

Well i've got a pearl necklace. My mom bought it for me so I could go to family weddings and stuff.
