And then there are the people who go to have herbs to loose weight.
I seem to be going to more Chinese doctors, than Western lately. It's just better than antibiotics. But that's my 2 cents.

Even when im not sick.. she'll make me drink certain teas coz im "yeet hay" (uhh.. my system is hot?).
I remember one time i had really bad headaches.. and the chinese doctor told me to wash my hair with ginger water... and it WORKED O__O" (apparantly i had wind (foong) in my head... i think in western terms its called a head cold)

haha my mom tells me i'm 'yeet hay' all the time. she then goes and makes me all sort of teas to apprarantly 'fix it'
it taste gross.. but it works better than plain advil or whatever so i end up using herbal medicine more often.

If you don't like taking raw herbs or powdered herbs, you can have pills instead although the raw herbs are most effective.
To the person above who asked about eczema, according to my bf who's in my course as well... he says that chinese medicine is effective with herbs.
The idea of CM is to bring the body back to a balance, well as close as you can. So if the balance is out of whack, things go wrong. Your CM practitioner will treat you for your chief complaint (i.e. eczema) but hopefully they will treat you for the underlying cause as well. My own CM practitioner gave me heaps of herbs and acupuncture last year which helped me because I was suffering from extreme tiredness, eczema, and back pain. It cleared up everything, although I haven't gone back to get acupuncture for my back pain in a while but it was really effective. I used to go weekly.
Anyway, I would totally tell you everything I know but most of you would probably stare at me blankly cause it wouldn't make sense... It didn't make sense to me when I first started this course either... but now, I think in CM terms anyway.
HTH
You made me happier than I'd been by far

I went to the Chinese Doctors for my skin problems too and while they cured it for awhile, when the weather went cold again - I was messed up.
Back to the Docs again. But if you don't like the liquid taste, you can make tablets out of them. I've had them too and it's just like Western medicine.
