This is ridiculous...on April 16 2007, some crazy korean guy killed 33 people including himself..
yes this is a tragic accident that should be never repeated.
However, this not the only tragic event that is going on in this world.
couple of day after this tragic event, there were about 180 killed in Iraq.
As usual by some Muslim extremists.
The problem is this
I see on Newspaper & web-Newspaper that Korean christian groups are praying for the victims of the Virginia tech incident
I found this very hypocritical and stupid.
It is a nice thing to pray for someone...BUT
They pray for the victims of Virginia Tech where 33 people has been killed
and yet they do not pray for the 180 victims of Mulism terrorism and thousands killed in the past?
Does this mean that they only care about the lives of Christian nation and they do not care about the lives of Muslim?
I thought all LIVES were suppose to be equal in value...
As you can see... i found Korean churches very hypocritical... only caring about the lives of the American while ignoring what is going on
outside the U.S
You guys should really change the way you view the world... this not the problems of Korean churhces only... it is a global problem.
F.U.C.K YOU HYPOCRITS

there are so many things wrong with what you said...
the newspaper reported them praying for the virginia tech victims because the incident struck close to home. these were american deaths, so the newspaper is probably going to pick this story over the muslim deaths. who knows if that church is praying for the victims of the terrorist attack? they might be, or they might be praying for starving african children, or victims of the darfur genocide. don't pick out one article from a newspaper and make judgements about an entire race. the church probably prays for many things, it's just that it wasn't covered in the article, ok? get over yourself...>_>

You shouldn't generalize so harshly just because of a couple of articles. I attend weekly a korean church- which you so firmly deem 'hypocritical'- and for your information, in several sermons this week we have prayed for the Muslims, and for the many other victims of the war as well. Just because the newspapers don't see fit to announcing it doesn't mean that we completely disregard everybody that isn't American.

Well, people get more emotional about things that are closer to them. Americans died, America mourns. A Korean killed them, stupid racists get bad ideas about Korea, & Koreans pray.
Is that bad?
I mean, how would you feel if your mom died at the same time some woman you didn't even know died, and then people yelled at you because you ignored the other woman's death while mourning for your own mother?

i found what you wrote to be disgustingly inappropriate. no, korean churches do not put 'value' on lives... what twisted church does? just because korean churches around the globe are praying specifically for the victims of the VT shooting does not mean we are playing favorites. but the VT incident struck a personal note with many of us, so what`s wrong with focusing on that?

your only stating what you've read in the newspaper. have you ever gone to church and listened to what they pray about? Yea i prayed for those families who lost their loved ones at VTech, but they are not the only people i pray for. if we only cared about the Americans, why do churches sent out missionary groups all over the world? because we care for them too. Maybe its you that needs to open your eyes and see the world.

wtheck. what you just wrote was COMPLETELY inappropriate. you are generalizing WAY TOO MUCH. you're gathering your facts from ONE newspaper. who said that churches weren't also praying for the people in iraq? did the newspaper also say that? -.-"
