That's just silly. This option has been available for years in the Windows operating system and in Linux in general for a number of years as well. I hate having to copy files when I can just as easily move the files in other operating systems.

After using Expose to find my finder window, I can't drag files. I have to use other ways to switch to finder.

It has to be FAT32, it can't be NTFS

basically attach the drive to your mac, goto disk utility, goto Erase and under Volume Format select MS-DOS (FAT)

I just got a white Macbook yesterday and am still very new to it since I've only used it for a year a couple years back. I went through all 69 pages to see if similar questions were asked but I apologize if I'm repeating any questions. I just have some two questions:
1. Are there usually Mac versions to programs? I want to download Adobe Photoshop but not too sure if there's a difference between the one I usually download for my Windows and a Mac.
2. Can I use DC++ with a Mac?
Thanks for all the help

1. There are definitely ALWAYS mac alternatives to MOST programs. Exceptions include korean broadcasts, windows games, etc. However, if you're looking at the adobe series, people say they run the same, if not better, in comparison to the Windows version. I have photoshop, lightroom, and reader. They all run perfectly, so you should have no problem.
2. I find it actually easier to use DC++ on a mac. When I was in res, I just used Shakespeer and it worked without a hitch.
Congrats on the new mac. You won't turn back

Some more questions:
1. How would I go about doing Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter on a Mac?
2. How would I clear private data, cookies, and anything else when I'm using Safari?
3. I have full bars when my AirPort is on but my download speed is very slow (even for a small program file) -- does this have anything to do with the Mac?
Thanks!
Edit:
I downloaded Shakespeer and it tells me "Mounting failed." I then tried to download it again but got the same message...help?
