after i'm done eating, i was thinking "when is this expires?"
i looked for the expiry date.....and it was 11 November 2006

i'm thinking if i'm gonna be ok? mellow.gif

I don't think you have to worry since the chocolate wasn't sitting out or anything. Still wrapped up and in the fridge so I'm sure it's fine.

Man, Chinese people (or just my family) eat expired food all the time. As long as it doesn't smell/rot/molding, it's basically edible. It's probably hella bad for our health, but don't waste food? (that's what they keep telling me).

well if it had mold then you probably shouldn't eat it but usually you could just take the moldy part off and still eat it and be ok. i think you should be fine.

it should be fine. if it looks grey-ish that just means the fat/butter seperated but you can still eat it.

Anyway, it was stored in the fridge, unopened... So I guess it's fine. Unless someone already took a bite, put it in the fridge and you ATE it vicx.gif

if it's dark chocolate, i'd say go for it. if it's milk chocolate, the diary content would make me think twice.

anytime you eat expired food unknowingly, just make sure your immune system is up to speed -- chug some celery or raw fruits immediately, maybe? crazy.gif

You're not going to die. I mean, it only expired at the end of last year. biggrin.gif

Like you said, it tasted good. The tongue knows, man. No worries.
