Yoz everyoneee! heard his song on radio few days ago... thought this new guy is quite talented and his song quite nice... his name is khalil fong (fang da tong)... can play guitar, piano and drums! He got write songs for other singers as well..like andy lau, a-mei... recently, he released his mandarin album This Love and most of the songs are composed by him. Best newcomer IMO. This guy is too good. His first album, "Soulboy" he composed, arranged and wrote like ninety percent of the album. His second album had a more R&B/neo-soul feel to it. All of the tracks stood out. Some people say he's like the Hong Kong version of David Tao. Khalil definitely has potential.

i come for NEWS, but since got fang da tong's thread, i jus couldn't resist but see the comments.

he already had an album out..this is his second one..first one was amaaaaazing..=) second one is good too =P the guy has serious talent..love him!

yes! i absolutely love that one.

and he wrote a lot of good songs for others too. one example is dai ngoi by andy hui. this guy has mad talent!

he`s not really new... already been 2 years...

but yeeea he truly has talent biggrin.gif but too bad his popularity isn`t the best.. sleep.gif;; maybe if he will try to sing cantonese songs instead of mandarin all the time..

I really like his approach to his music!! It's so soulful and you can tell that he puts a lot of effort into his composing.

I reccommend listening to his duet with Fiona Sit "Four Person Vacation"
still pulling on doors when pushing is required.

Yea, I think there was a thread already.

But I still <3 him. One of the best newcomers/artists<3. I'm happy that he's gaining more recognition now... I keep hearing Taiwanese radio stations play his songs xD

Oh! haha! the search function wasnt working so i din realise that there was already a thread started for him... but i think his album should be in singapore stores soon ba... i just heard his interview on radio last week..he said he will be coming to singapore this year!!!!!
