the deal is...
i was on birth control for about 2.5-3 years. then i got off of it. right after i did, i got my period. but then it became irregular, so i took it again for like..2 weeks. then ever since then (which was in november)
my period hasnt come.

and im pretty positive im not pregnant.

before i get it checked out..do you girls have any idea why it's doing this?

oh btw, im 21. so i'd think my period should be regular cycle by now.

Please help!

you should really consult the gynocologist or doctor that prescribed your medication.

if your below 14% body fat you won't get your period. Because if you don't have 14% body fat you body can't handle bearing a child and once your 14% or over you'll get your period again :3

its most likely bcos coming off the pill screwed up your cycle.
you should def. go see your gyno & talk to him/her about it.
i'm sure everythings okay tho. my friend's cycle used to be regular, but
out of the blue, she now only gets her period once or twice
a year. she went to see her dr. and they said although her cycle is wack,
that she is okay & healthy. but yeah, def. go see her gyno.

you should really see a doctor for that.
there's a possibility that you might have PCOS?
I don't know because for me, I didn't have my
period for over a year and a few months up until
january last year when i started becoming more
regulary =o all I needed was just exercise.
but anywho.. yeah... that's just what I think
cuz my doctors said I had a chance of having PCOS.
But since my period came back and stuff,
I don't have it ^^;; I dunno it's hard to explain
but that's what my doctors been telling me - -"
and from what i'm thinking... it was cuz of that
pill you were taking oo;;

are you eating right? something wrong w/ your diet, maybe?
are u very skinny?
Female athletes don't have period as much because of their low body fat.

http://www.webmd.com/infertility-and-repro...absence-periods

you may have secondary amenorrhea, according to WebMD
if you look at the site, it says that stopping the use of birth control can cause secondary amenorrhea

i'm also 21, and my period is very inrregular.

significant changes in the amount of estrogen in your body has some part to do with it.

also, if you changed your diet significantly, or is starting to exercise more?

don't worry, i'm sure it's gonna be okay, it's probably because you stopped the pills (which regulate your period)

go see a doctor....
but if it's any consolation, there was a time when I didn't have my period for over eight months before it came back (up till then it was a pretty steady cycle)

definitely like everyone else has been saying, get it checked out. If it skips every other month or so, supposedly it is all right...but 6 months is kinda stretching it.
Laugh.
