the repeat rule goes like this.
lets say you get D or F in one of your classes.
you can retake it and if you get C or Higher, the latter grade will replace your first mark (for gpa). however it will show up in the transcript.
lets say you get a D or F on the second try, you can retake it but the first grade will remain and so will the passing grade of the third try.
so lets say you got D on first, D on second, A on third... your grade will be averaged into 1+4 = 5/2 (2.5) for that class.

you are wrong. it is possible to transfer to cal state after 1 year. uc's might be a different story.

so, let's say that i'm done taking all of my classes that i needed to take on IGETC. all those classes doesn't add up to 60 units, but i finished what i was required to take on IGETC.
am i still not able to transfer to a UC or CSU because i don't have 60 transferable units?

you can but it wont be as a junior transfer. igetc is just a certificate that says you finished the general education requirements for UC. you need to take courses that are required for your major. for that, check out www.assist.org

UC they hardly accept any sophomore transfers b/c since you mention you won't have 60 units. but i beleieve there has been successful sophomore transfers like 1% but some UCS don't even accept applications for sophomore like UCLA and UCB in particular. but i can be wrong.
sWtB: it's possible to transfer to UC/CSU within one year as long you have strong GPA and 60 units you will get accepted
i know someone who have 30 units in fall+ winter and another 30 units in spring+summer (but summer you can exceed in 8 units that are needed to satifsy the 60 units requirement)
yes, if you have taken AT LEAST 2 semester of community college like say fall and spring terms you are considered a CCC student but you must stay within the units cap. of 60-89 semester units combine from your CC and SDSU
by the way is there anything wrong with SDSU? b/c i apply there and i just want to know xP
if i stay at a CC for 3 years, am i still allowed to transfer to USC (or any other 4year) for my last year?
or is it a 2year/2year agreement?
it doesn't have to be 2/2 years you can be at the CC for whatever years and still apply as a junior transfer to 4 year universities

SDSU is a great school. If you have been living in an asian community all your life, be prepared to see a lot of white ppl and little of everything else. lol theres always something going on around the school whether it is day or night. and everyone knows its a party school so have fun. overall its a good school im not attending there anymore because i want to do physical therapy program and long beach is better at it so im back here trying to get into lb. everything is near by too like the mall, cosco, walmart, target and everything else. 10 mins away from mission beach and sea world. hope this helps give you an idea on SDSU.

why not? they are 2 different college systems.
general education requirements will be similar but cal state requires u to take a speech class.
major requirements will be same/different depending on schools.
cal state minimum gpa is lower than uc minimum gpa to apply.

You're so badass. What extra-curricular activities did you do to get in? I guess I wanna know how much an impressive amount would be.
