usually most of the pre reqs for the UCs are going to be very similar. some uc's like UCLA and UCB require more pre-reqs to be completed for your intended major. if you're aiming for ucla and ucb.. try to cover all the pre reqs that are required.
for example, im an english major and i made this chart off of assist.org
i think making a chart like this will be very helpful
oh and to be safe.. you shouldn't miss more than one pre req...... depending on your major that is. if its an impacted major.. try to complete ALL of them

BTW thats a good spreadsheet. Also, completing IGETC isn't important if you're in a major that has a ton of pre-reqs.

well, i'm a business major and some schools require certain computer classes and its very out of the way to take that class for that one specific school since it doesn't apply at all for the other. only accounting and econ are similar throughout all the schools

i believe business & business econ are very impacted majors for ucla and ucb. haus school for business at uc berkeley is really hard to get into. its important to finish ALL the pre reqs for ucla & ucb.
i'm guessing you want to apply to those schools, but if not, still try to complete all of them. but i'm sure the other uc's will be more lenient over one missing pre req.
i would suggest you save that one class for your last semester at cc...
that's if you change your mind about taking the course.
i would focus on that at least 3 UC pre requisites, even if they are all different. its better safe than sorry

Now I am going to Seattle Central CC. I want to major in history.
Does anyone have any advice for me? I feel like anything anyone tell me right now is a big help.

Why double major? Most recruiters don't care if you double majored, might as well go for a masters.
Totally depends on how "smart" you are. If you are generally good with math and chem based classes, then go for it. What kind of math level are we talking? Calc1? II? Linear Algebra? Chemistry isn't really difficult, just time consuming (unless you are doing Ochem).

Universities only look at the transferable GPA and not the cumulative, so 4 year institutes wont look at grades from remedial classes such as Intermediate Algebra. they'll js factor in the transferable GPA for admissions so no need to worry if you get C's in non transferable courses. & yeah i agree, C's are definite killers.
