• Temporarily on leave from Induk Institute of Technology, majoring in industrial design
• Drew attention by mixing together two distinctive genres of music: hip hop and traditional Korean music known as “minjung kayo”, which deals with social reform and the arduous lives of the working class
• The rapper first won public recognition through the Internet, an unofficial channel. His song, ‘Sora Sora Pururun Sora’, meaning ‘green pine tree’, a remake of a famous minjung kayo, was posted on the Web by one of his fans. Right after the song was posted, some 18,000 people launched an on-line fan club for him, leading MC Sniper to record his first solo record.
