Ulcerative Colitis Does anyone have it? If so what do you eat?

wow...i have a friend who had to go for surgery for that....
basically you have to avoid fresh fruits and vegetables, caffeine, carbonated drinks and sorbitol-containing foods (this one i got from wikipedia, but my friend told me so too) don't agitate your stomach/colon too much by eating food that are spicy or strong in flavour.
