Don't worry, almost everyone does better on their second try
But you should study from the official college board SAT book (blue book); the questions on those practice test are pretty much the same as the ones you'll see on the real test (same concepts)
Anyways, i heard that taking it 3 times max is recommended, any more is just pushing it x_x
good luck

"All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope. All the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us."

as many times as it takes for you to be satisfied... philosophically.
realistically. i'd say, overcome your hatred and study ur butt off and take it once or twice more.
... but for REAL. i had the SATs too, and that's exactly what i complain to my parents about (how the questions change, what's the point)
but i think the point is to be familiar with the techniques blah blah blah.
ok i'll shut up.

TWO. no more, no less.
HOWEVER, if you did not improve the second time, take it the 3rd time. But just so you know, if you did not improve on the second, you probably won't on the third.

At least twice... but it's really up to you - if you think you'll improve a LOT take again, but if not just don't. What about ACTs?
