Thanks for giving birth to this thread.
That's great news redbean, I'm glad this information has been helping you
No, yolk is not bad. The reason I prefer egg whites over regular eggs is because the yolk contains excess cholesterol. Overall, as a food, yolks are a major source of vitamins and minerals. BUT, they contain all of the egg's fat and cholesterol, It's overall good for you and it even contains testosterone, I suggest you can mix in a whole egg with let's say 6 egg whites. You don't want to continally eating whole eggs all the time, due to that extra choolestrerol and fat it provides.
Honestly, that's a BIG desert. I prefer you having a snack like that maybe once a week on your 'cheat' days. If your wanting some sweets that bad, count all the calories you've eaten in during the day and if you have 'little' room, treat yourself with a 'little' snack, but I honestly don't recommend you do that everyday.

Weight: 135
I had a Personal Trainer once, and my trainer measured my fat; my result came out Obesity. I don’t consider myself fat but Chubby but then i'm pretty skinny boned.
Problem Area:
I tend to gain upper body starting from stomach and up. The first place to gain is my face, then my arms, and stomach, and back fat.
Eating Habit:
My Eating Habit is pretty bad. Sometime I would only eat once a day or twice. I rarely eat three times a day. But when I eat, I eat a big proportion. I try not to snack on chips but I do once a week. I don’t drink that much water either; I think I drink like 2-3 bottles of water a day.
Activity:
I am currently swimming for an hour—two days a week. I’m doing stretching/yoga for two hours—two days a week. And I walk a lot cause of school.
I also have a membership to 24 hour fitness but I haven’t been there for months now.
Is there any exercise you recommend that I should use at the Gym. When I go to the gym there is so many machine, I don’t know what to use. If I do go to the gym, I usually just go on the treadmill, elliptical, and the bikes.

I think it's a true blessing that we can get advice from a REAL PERSONAL TRAINER !
I'm really overweight, and I was interested in starting exercising and dieting. I'm a vegetarian so..recipes and diet plans would be great.
I dont have access to a gym or weights..so what can I do to get this fat off and tone myself?
Thanks soo much!
I will be posting here often ^^

First of all, I think it's very nice of you to start this thread. It'll be very helpful for a lot of people, especially clueless people like me.
I've heard about different body types needing different kinds of exercise. I have a pear shaped body and I really hate it. I gain weight on my lower body (butt and thighs). My upper body is pretty normal and my waist is pretty small, so it makes my lower body stand out even more. So my birthday is coming up in about 3 weeks and I'm trying to lose some weight and tone up for my 21st birthday. What kinds of exercises would be most suitable for me? I don't want to build more muscle on my lower body since it'll just make my lower body look bulky. Thanks!

you should ALWAYS do full body workouts
not just working on upperbody.
and you are not going to get bulky, females just dont have enough testosterone to build a great deal of muscle
i would suggest you change your diet, how does your diet look like? any stats(weight, height etc)
also you will want to do cardio.

Weight: 102 pounds
I want to be skinnier, not slim. Does that make sense? Model - skinny, basically. I'm going to attempt running a lot since it's good cardio but I'm afraid that I'll build bulk on my legs. What's a good routine for me?

Not neccessarily. When you increase the resistance on the eliptical your setting it so that you can set the difficulty adjusted to your fitness level. Unless your doing 250rpm and at level 12 you won't be doing that much cardio because it's really difficult to get a cardiovascular activity when it's set that high. Cause obviously you won't be able to go for that long no matter how fit you are

Eat, and eat, and EAT.

Eliptical is that ski looking machine you see at the gym that you peddle your feet on. It feels like your in mid air almost. You weight train by lifting weights.

haha your 17 dude, eat and lift and rest.
at 17 your levels of testosterone are pretty high and it will be easier to gain some quality muscle mass then say, a 34 year old.
just eat ALOT.
i mean good stuff like Nojeel pointed out, oats, rice, veggies(<- fiber, you will need it when you eat alot LOL, youll know what i mean
protein shakes are optional but sometimes neccesary if you cannot afford to eat quality steak or beef twice a day.
well Nojeel, high intensity sometimes does work lol for example HIIT
but if you are just starting off do regular cardio, bike, jogging, or elliptical for about 20-30 minutes at moderate pace(light jog)

I mean steak is good, but twice a day? I guess it goes by preference but I prefer pounds of lean chicken, steak can get really heavy and if it's cooked in too high of temperature it can digest and break down really, REALLY slowly.
HIIT is mainly from cardio standpoing opfor101, it's not for specific for weight traning however you can add it accordingly. If you really want to incorporate cardio plus weight training that would be known as circuit training. If you want to get into detail, the question was from the member was can you do cardio+weightlifting simualtaenously; to do that you have do it while alternating between the two, not at the same time.

ah i thought he was just talking about cardio, didnt see the weightlifting part in his post.
ah well. I never really did HST, all i did was max ot and im going to be doing a 5x5 routine which worked really well for people who just started.
how is HST btw?
all i saw from it was that you do same workouts 3 times a week but with less volume then normal training.
me personally i just do a 20-30 minute jog for cardio and also helps keep me hungry (also makes the body more efficient at utilizing calories)
BTW dont diss out my steak like that
