im starting to do a lot of cardio so i can lose my stomach fat and gain a six pack
im on the eplitical for 3-6 miles or what even i run in 60 mintues 3 miles min-6max
lately i havnt been doing it , but i usally do it 3+ a week
and on the days i dont do cario of course i lift weights
usally i try to alternate them carido lift cardio lift
but after i lift i drink muscle milk
so would i still be losing fat from cardio ? or am i just gaining those calories back from the muscle milk
you'd definitely be losing fat regardless of the muscle milk. although muscle milk contains some calories, its not enough to shift your weight even after running. so yeah, you can continue taking muscle milk as long as you keep up the cardio. however, taking a break from muscle milk while doing cardio isnt a bad idea either.
Wow! Finally, the right person to go to! ^^
Well, my brother and I have been trying to lose weight. Three years ago, I was super skinny. Now, my thighs have gotten thicker and so has my waist. But I don't have that fat belly or anything. I don't understand why, because well...I just don't -__- But I'd like to lost weight around the waist first, then, the legs. I'm not fat or anything, but I must do something to prevent that... Can you help me? There are no gyms close by or anything...and it's hot and humid where we live. We live in a small, small town... -___-
Thanks.
not sure who you were directing the post to but the best thing is to run and do cardio exercises. doing yoga and pilates will also help tone your legs if youre unsure if running will build leg muscle.
ive been a bit overweight for about 5 yrs im 5ft and about 135lbs... im now trying to do some sit ups to get rid of the belly fat, but the thing is once i get down i cant get back up, so im wondering if I do the sit ups often enough, then eventually i could actually sit back up right? (as it build muscles so it strenghthens the tummy)
oh yes, while doing sit ups im using something or someone to hold my feet so i could pull myself up. but since im relying something to pull me up will it still burn the fat on the belly?
regardless of being overweight or not, doing a full situp without the aid of anyone or anything holding your legs is hard for the average person. if you continue to do situps, then yes you will get better and improve your form however running and cardio is the way to lose belly fat. situps and crunches will just add muscle and your abs will be hidden under the fat.
