i remember learning this last year, but i dont know the answer off the top of my head. can't you find this online? im pretty sure that it's somewhere on the internet.

i was looking it up and i found the lensmaker equation. if you look at it, it's an inverse relationship [i think], meaning that as the index of refraction increases, the focal length decreases, vice versa. im not sure if that's right. what i know for sure is that the index of refraction is one of the factors that determines as focal length [as seen in the equation].
