Galbi Jeem anyone have the recipe??

my moms having some guest over this saturday and she was thinking of make Galbi Jeem. I was wondering if anyone knew the recipe to 갈비 찜. to make it very delicous ^^ haha thank you very much

I don't know the recipe but I know that if you let it sit out for like an hour or two, all the fat clump and there's huge chunks of fat in the pot with the gal bi floating in it. And it gets nasty. So before you serve it, re-heat it very well so the fat melts into the goh gee again smile.gif

galbi jeem is a braising dish, so im guessing its just regular recipe but simmered in a pot for few hours

hm im not sure if i got the right recipe but its worth a try tongue.gif
im partly indo however I LOVE <3 KOREAN FOODS like crazy too! :]

here they are:

Korean Gal-bi (Kal-bi)


Ingredients:
Large sealable container or tupperware. Make sure they do not stain or absorb ordor.
1/2 cup soy sauce. (I use Kikkoman brand)
1/2 cup white sugar
4 cups cold water
1 white onion
3 lbs Gal-Bi meat

Instructions:
Puree onion with 1 cup of water.
Combine onion, water, sugar, soy sauce and mix well.
Marinate Gal-Bi meat in a tight sealing container in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Fire up the BBQ and enjoy!
