How many people own a Zune and how do they like it?
I have the Ipod Nano but i kind of want to change
my friend got a brown zune for fun and it looks pretty good just a bit bulky but i don`t mind that.
except he doesn`t use it he bought it on impulse

It's good except
1. no one else has it so you can't really use the wi-fi share music thing
2. it only shows English - that means no Korean, Chinese, or Japanese (which is what my music library is composed of )

it honestly depnds on what you are buyin it for.

but imo the nano and the zune are pretty differnt.

nano is small light and easy to carry. while the zune is bigger heavier than the nano.

i own a white zune and i love my zune and wouldnt trade it for any other ipod prodcuts but thats juss me.

what i do like about it is that it doesnt have scorll whell. i hated the scroll wheel. .. was very uncomfortable for me to use.

i also love the size of it... ppl may gripe that its 'big' but its 'perfect' for the size of my hands and feels comfortable when i am holding it.

ive held the ipod video and i have to say i like my zune better. the ipod video didnt fit too well in my hand and was acutally uncomfortable for me to hold. :\

i also have an ipod nano... but i never use it.

just make sure you know what you are buyin it for... dotn complain afterwards about it being big or what not... cuz i feel that its perfect for my needs. if u feel that its perfect for your needs to then go right ahead :]

I love my Zune. The only other DAP that comes close is the Kenwood HD30.

I bought a Zune for my sister and I think it's excellent as it is and there are plenty of hacks you can find for it that make it even better (a la www.zuney.net and others)
I'm sure there are hacks for showing east asian font.

yeah that would be my only complaint about it. other than that i love it. i have the white one...lol i like the ''frost'' casing thats around it

do you know when u share music thru zune... it only lasts a few days and get deleted?

also the video playback only supports 2 file types. mpeg4 and wmv if i remember correctly

Microsoft is planning a whole lineup of Zunes, not just one. There's a lot of talk online about a new one being unveiled sometime later this year with cell phone capabilities. Even if you are uninterested in a cell phone feature, I would suggest anybody to wait to see what Microsoft has up their sleeve.

I say...though it has some pretty cool features, the size and weight will eventually get to you. (this is because you already own the nano which is super thin and light-weight).

I wouldn't go for the Zune, honestly...unless I won it as a prize! Look around for other brands of mp3's, Microsoft and Apple aren't the only competitors out there.

Yes, there is a codec problem with videos..they must be in wmv format but there is a way to bypass that. Though its kind of complicated to explain. A technique that needs no converting at all.

there are pink and red and halo zunes available now.

so there are about 5 colors total
-white
-black
-brown
-red
-pink

and then theres the black zune but its the limited halo edition zune
-that has a little design on the zune itself.
i personally dont like it but halo fans mite like it
