I know this is a washed-down school for Emory, but what exactly is it? What's the difference between Oxford and Emory? You end up with an Emory degree anyway.. If anyone has more details or actually goes there then please don't hesitate to reply~

i wouldn't say oxford is "washed down." it's just the location where the original emory used to be before the main campus moved to atlanta. they are under the same university (which is emory), but just two separate campuses. oxford is in a rural/suburban setting. it has a considerably lower student enrollment than emory - only about 700 i think. the tuition is also cheaper if you want to go to oxford. i would say it's similar (keyword there) to a small liberal arts school with connections to a good college. most freshmen are given the option to attend oxford their first year and then transfer over to emory. that's what my friend did.
you can always google oxford at emory if you need more information...

i wouldnt say it's washed down either. i actually visited it and it's actually a really nice and cute campus.
emory is the main campus while oxford is like a junior college of emory. all degree programs are the same.
and you end up with an emory degree.
oxford is easier to get into since a lot of people dont want to go there due to it's size..
and emory doesnt want to get rid of that campus lol.
but needless to say..in no way is oxford a "junior" college
tuition is about 37 for everything while main campus emory is 46
at oxford you get to know your teachers more since the avg class size is like 18. easier to get
recommendations and internships.
umm..there is a lot of diversity there..which is a good thing. you get access to everything on the main campus and
they have shuttles to take you there. oh...like 80 percent of the freshmen are premed.. o.o
are you going there?
if you have any questions..feel free to ask me!
