I've used a few sprays....and i might get flack for this, but honestly, the cheap $5 got2b yellow canister hairspray works like a charm, and it holds for the whole day, and then some. As long as you spray it a decent distance from your hair, it doesnt clump up. I've gotten a few ppl hooked on it, and they switched from their $20+ brands. Anyone else ever used it??

Oh and my friend told me once it smelt like beer...can anyone confirm this? cause i sure don't smell it lol

I only use a lil bit of mouse if my hair is really long cuz it helps style .. But not for short hair

Ok someone needs to explain to me the whole thinning, layered, trimming thing. What's the difference? I always grow out my hair so when I goto a salon they make my top layer shorter which isn't what I really want. I kinda like my top layer to be long but make my hair less thick.

^^Yeah, I bought a Spiky Edge from your store. A pretty good deal for those who can't get Gatsby easily and its a nice price compared to most soompi stores out there, they usually sell for 15-16 shipped =X.

^Well, that means you want to have your hair thinned. Thinning makes your hair less thick and lighter which makes it easier to style.

i'm not a guy, but i have a short hairstyle. the ends of my hair likes to kinda curl in different directions after i take a shower. the left side always curl in and the right side of my hair curls outward. they're not really curls, but they're not exactly straight either. i want my sides to be nice and straight, but how do i go about doing that? should i use a straightener? or should i just apply hair products and pull on them until they're straight?

here's a picture of my self curling hair.

yeah, i agree with kokonut, straightener would probably clean that up. When my hair gets long at the back especially, the ends tend to always curl.

if anyone is interested, this guy is selling the original gatsby series on eBay. (the only guy on ebay.) although it will set you back about ~$15.50 (inc. S&H)

1. Gatsby original series - Black - Mat Type
2. Gatsby original series - Red - Megahold Type
3. Gatsby original series - Blue - Hard&Keep Type (soft wax)

supposedly the old stuff is stronger than the newer moving rubber series and more preferred than the newer stuff, according to some. so meh, if that appeals to you, check out the listing. as for myself, i just ordered the black mat type, so i can compare it to the newer grey grunge mat...see if its that different tongue.gif cool.gif

EDIT: link fixed. the forum kept truncating the long URL dry.gif..i just fed it through tinyurl to fix.
