When you mean thin it out, do you mean by using the flat iron or something?

rofl, usually it's done by the hair stylist...and no....you cannot thin your hair using a straightener lol.
Basically the stylist holds up a handful of strands and start cutting from the bottom using a razer or thinning scizzor, about 65% of the hair or cut from the bottom and no strands are equal but should be closly the same length. Just go to your stylist and ask for "can you thin / layered" my hair...I still can't find the difference between layering and thinning your hair...Well if your hairstylist have no clue what you are talking about...it is a sign that he/she is outdated and go find a new stylist. My haircut usually range from 40-50$ I don't like the 18$ haircuts some place offer.

uhh .. layer = as the name states.. LAYERS its usually shorter layers at the top, longer at the bottom
thin is like.. ALSO AS THE NAME STATES.. thin... so they basically just cut some of your hair out so that its not that BIG .. and you have less hair LOL (bad explanation).. uhh usually asian hairstylists wil know what you're talking about XD ahha

GOOD LUCK! =)haha.. bad stylist = RUN AWAY AND FIND A NEW ONE XD..

i had too many.. so i just cut my own hair XD.. lol woo at least if i screw up i didnt pay anyone to screw it up and i can just get mad at myself XD haha

eBay has listings...ie. cos.beauty, hkwai_beauty ~$10CDN shipped.

also, people here on soompi sell it as well, duksiew and angelland. check the sellers subforum.

i tried the grey moving rubber and i cant seem to get the style i want out of it. i tried twisting and junk when my hair is try, but it the stuff just doesnt really wanna spike. it also seems weak; my hair flops over after like 10mins, lol. but my pink moving rubber just arrived today and i see how it is when i use both. and yeah yeah.. i know, i need a layered cut for that... tongue.gif ill get to that when my hair gets longer. i dont wanna use hairspray either..too much maintenance, esp when i goto the gym.. i dont wanna lug all these bottles with me wherever i go.

i also wouldn't mind trying their gatsby ultra hard type (camo) to see what the strength is on that, although i already have arimino spice sisters freezing wax (really strong) and hard wax on its way. ill do a review once i try all this hairy junk.

it probably works better for you cuz of your cut.

and curious, where did you get your OSIS spray in canada? is it too high-end for a place like superstore? lol

so... you actually know how to layer and thin your hair? I used to cut my hair for the last couple of years but now since I want something more -asian style- layered and thinned I just haven't cut it myself for about 4 months...

it's terribly hard to style... actually, I wonder if you can call style to what I do to my hair, but I hope to get a good haircut soon...

-------

oh... and the worst is that I just noticed some split ends in some hair... terrible

------

about the best hold... the grey one is really nice because leaves no shine and it's quite strong... however, I am desperately waiting for the "Technical Design Clay" from Gatsby to be available out of Japan (see the gatsby website... color black) <<-- it seems it is used to give better hold to any of the other moving rubbers... and style the hair more...

if you're REALLY desperate for it, there are some reputable japanese proxies you can use to ship it over to your location. although you pay a premium for the service. (~$23 total shipped by EMS (registered, super fast express service)? iunno...just my estimate..although price would be lower per unit if you bought more or just combine ship some nice japanese-brand clothes with it...they got nice shat we dont have here)

but hey, if you're desperate, thats what you gotta do. i used one of these proxies for another wax thats hard to find locally. otherwise, you gotta wait until some people start selling on ebay or at a store close by.

just a friendly suggestion tongue.gif

You're on Sufu?

What wax were you trying to find? Nakano Spice Sisters? lol

Gatsby already had a Technical Design Clay out before.

I think they just changed the packaging to make it similar to the moving rubber series.

Remember its stronger since its clay, not wax.

yeah grey falls down for me too after awhile, but hairspray usually keeps it up.
I like the pink for crazy days..but yea, it does give a little bit too much shine for
my taste. anyone ever combine? like use grey first, then a lil pink or something
after to touch up??
