hmm i have a question..would you drive 2 or 3 hours to go to a hair salon that is not around your area?

cuz for some reason i feel that LA has great asian salon places...where i live, san diego, i tried to search and make topics (soompi network) and don't seem to find good ones.(probably like 2 but i want to hear more opinions etc.)

so just asking would you drive 2-3 hours?

i know some people here would drive an hour, but just want to know your opinions.

That's crazy. A lot of time and money spent driving. Guess I'm lucky. Where I live in Korea, there's about 20 different hair salons within a 10 minute walking distance. Maybe more. Took me about 6 different salons before I found the perfect stylist, though...

xVKN408x: Your hair looks nice. You straighten your hair everyday? Do you mine sharing what products you use to keep your hair healthy and shiny?

My hair used to be really healthy and strong, but wavy. So I started straightening my hair. I like it straight a lot better than wavy, but my hair is now kind of dried out. I shampoo my hair once every 2-3 days but condition twice a day.

anyways basically i need a new style. right now my hair is bout like 1-2 inches, i keep the front down for bangs nd right above the bangs i have like spikes going outwards pointing foward mostly. nd the rest of my head all up. the sides are just down covering my ears. nd i just leave the back of my head cause i dunno what to do with it. what do u guys do with the back of ur head?

sry for the confusion. the pics i tried to take didnt show my hair that good =[

if your hair is only 1-2 inches, not much you can do with
it imo...well, at least that i would know how to do lol.
But the back, since it isnt too long, you could spike it out a bit
maybe?

yea driving 2-3 hours is alot for just a haircut
i would suggest like what tonyc402 does, if you plan on going to LA for a extended time (all day or more) and it wasnt focused on the haircut then it would be more understandable

nice hair shiwen...yeah i agree, the back seems too thick, but it still looks good. whatever choice it is..

OH YEAH of course, IF i drive to LA to get a haircut, i would go there to hang out with my friends around that area and go to Ktown mall as well lol. so yeah atleast in a way its worth driving there and increasing your mileage lol.

but yeah thanks for the advice everyone, i'll try to look for more places in san diego. been asking a lot of people and my sister is trying to help me out too lol.
