^ wahh ur hair drops even when using hairspray?? haha i dun use hairspray so my hair usually drops a fair bit after an hour and doesn't look as nice.

she cut my hair just above my shoulders and the shock got to me so bad i cried for almost 2 hrs

ah well, my hair grows fast, w/ regular trims it should be back to the length i prefer within a few months...

ANYway... a couple of tips (even though i'm a girl and i don't dye my hair... i know a lot of ppl who do)

if you're going to dye your hair red, or any color really...
wash your hair with lukewarm water or it'll fade really fast, a shampoo that retains the color is recommended also

hehe, not all "fob" styles require long hair (long for guys ), for time being y don't u get it styled in a way that suits shorter hair? btw frostx y don't u dye ur hair back to black?

how do you get the back to stay up...
eurgh... I've got really thick hair so I ask my hairdresser to thinnen..
But it stays up for about an hr before it flops back down... *sigh*

after you shower do up blow dry your hair up? or even blow drying your hair with your hair down? it will add a lil volume.

how i keep my hair is a flat iron. i actually use it to make my hair straight buh even to keep it up. there times when i didnt HAVE to put any hair product in my hair just cause my hair was already sticking up.

when i tried using product with a part that isnt straighten...it falls down as well. OR maybe your just using too much hair product. the less the better.

if i do dye my hair its going to be at a salon, never turns out right at home
i'll probably stick with red , or i might go brown with blonde streaks

not sure what brand, but I hear the ceramic types are a lot less damaging than the others

^ that's true about ceramic, but only if it's 100% (those that are only partial have a ceramic coating that fade with use)

they're actually good for your hair...

chi's are good, but they usually break after a year ><' there are warranties though

i've used my aunt's solia, but if you're not careful your hair will BURN your fingers ><' (those get crazy hot...)

i've also used my sister's sedu
but i've found that it makes my hair a little dry so i use biosilk when i use it

try blow-drying your hair whilst bending forward so the air is blowing in the direction it grows

but if you insist, blow-dry on a cool setting

OMG.. Hair straighteners are my friend!!! LOL..
They kept my hair tamed when I was growing it out.. the best thing I've stolen from my sister..

basically get the length right and then go to your hairdresser and sorta explain how you want it..
I got it layered, thinnened and a trim... and then add wax and you get that effect...
