best to blow dry and use the correct wax (moving rubber =]) like tony has said. A straightener will make your hair straight, not necessarily puffy, but depending on your hair/length/cut something similar may happen but don't expect your hair to stay in place the whole day O_O

straightner wouldnt exactly do that...i tried that once before.
not a good idea bc its hard to make it unstraight, and your hair will look bad for the day

I think I may go for a new longer look..
QUESTION:

Not sure what thats called...widow's peak? but when growing out hair should I be shooting to grow over that part? not exactly sure what to do with it
I probably wont go too long I'm thinking something like Seung Ri's hair

or

ok not so long, but with a current faux its longer than I'm used to =P

i've been researching for a while, and it seems like sedu is more often better rated as a product compared to chi's while they are roughly in the same price range.
users that have tried both flat irons have mostly claimed sedu as superior, yet i hear no mention of it anywhere on soompi.
btw, anybody know of any sales going on? i missed the x-mas deals on folica

does anyone use hairspray anymore?
i find its better for 10cm+ length spikes
anyone know strong hairspray buh doesn't make your hair so damn brittle and hard?
atm im using the cheap black schwarzkopf sillhouette one, very strong
gatsby i don't find it strong enough
the only wax ive found to be strong enough is Volt which is korean
so like yea i need a new hairspray for long ass hair

*grows some long hair and copies you XD heh
umm.. for applying gatsby.. you take a small amount.. or a "DIME SIZE" amount XD>. and then rub it in your hands.. then put it in your hair O_o
dont take too much.. or it'll feel gross.. uhh.. after that just spray a bit of hairspray.. and you're done XD
umm.. for the hairspray.. o-o.. i use this TRESEMME one o-o.. and it's in this black thing LOl.. its like.. not hard/brittle XD.. and it smells nice XD haha

OH, hey sorry i didnt mean to , i didnt see your question . i get enough to cover 2 finger tips and rub it all around my hand . Afterwards I start from the back to the front of my hair and kinda whip my hand all around my hair to get the stuff to evenly distribute the wax . Then try to style it the way i want to.. its really hard to explain after that.

i just bought a cheap straightener and know how to use it, but just wanted to ask: does my hair have to be wet? or is that only for "wet hair" straighteners?
and i'm supposed to put one of those heat protection lotions or w/e in my hair before i straighten right?
thanks!
