me now
but since this is a bad picture..it doesnt show wat i've done with it..
its basically just the front spiked like the first pic, but in the back i kinda made this faux hawk vibe..
but i'm still not satisfied.

again, this dude, the one with the pink/black stussy tee.
since he has the shortness of my hair, how can i style my hair like that?
like theres one with the spiked with the sides set down.
and the one with the bangs facing sideways
can u teach me how to do both?

can anyone recommend a good hairspray and wax that are available in Australia. blush.gif

For wax, some sort of Gatsby moving rubber would be nice if you can find it. I use Tigi texturising paste though. It's pretty nice so maybe give that a try.

For hairspray, I like to use one that isn't in an aerosol can. I use Tigi maxxed out. It's extremely strong and keeps my hair in place even through exercise. The nozzle sprays even amounts so it's easier to use the exact amount of hairspray you want.

Though, Tigi products tend to be more expensive than some others. The paste and hairspray are about 25$ each depending on where you get them.

i dont see whats so difficult about styling your hair like that.... blink.gif
get your hair cut in a faux hawk style but tell them to give you slanted bangs and maybe a little more length on top, depending on what you like
then style with gel or whatever you want

Hi everyone!

This is my first post in the hairstyle thread...sooo....yeah ><

Anyway, I just got a new haircut today and it looks something like this:

Right now, the stuff I use to style my hair is gatsby air rise, grunge mat, and the pink spikey one (not all at once). Which one would be best to have the look I have in the pics? The hairstylist did it, and she has these hands that magically make my hair the way it is and I can't seem to duplicate sweatingbullets.gif

So yeah, thoughts on teh hair? I didn't really think it was all that right after I got it but a while after I started to like it. One nagging problem I have though is the sides, which always curl at the ends. Is straightening it the best way to keep it from not curling?

Thanks, and pardon the not-so-spectacular face lol ^^;;

Um the pink hair doesn't really make your hair hard..

zekey: the pink one would do since you have short hair..i like it btw suits u ^^

shiwen: nice hair style...little short, but its good ^^. I like the color of your hair too, but i doubt i could pull it off so i'll stick with my black hair. Oh yeah are planning to grow out your hairstyle?

Thanks =)

I tried the grunge stuff today, and it holds better than the spikey stuff, but I'll try the pink stuff tomorrow anyway.

Question: when you blow dry hair, do you dry the hair so that it's sort of "up" or "pre-positioned" for the style you want? Or do you blow the hair down and then style from there?

blue dry with your head down, you want your hair to stick up for the volume u dont want it flat.

^ Looks OK, I think it will look awesome if you layer your hair! Nicely done though smile.gif.
