gatsby grey mrubber isnt as good as sebastian xtah crude clay to be honest in terms of hold, but the matteness is quite good... i believe many of us would exactly go for the matteness of the product then the hold. can anyone here review about nakano and lucido products ?

Thats because grey gatsby isnt for ultimate hold. Thats why there are different kinds of colour for different uses. If you want more hold then people would get pink or purple. It all depends everyone hair texture and whats best for them to style, ones not better then the other.

however, pink and purple isnt matte at all... so i think xtah crude clay has the edge over grey due to its stronger hold.. but then again, still depends on the person's preferance

I think pink and purple gatsby are the best for me. I use pink/purple + lucido hairspray (hard) most of the time. I like playing with my hair and not having a "certain" look, so it's kinda random what my hair will look like. I've been using pink since summer, but I recently tried grey b/c my hair was too long to fit my face. It's pretty good if you don't want it to make it look spiky. I hate spending $8+ on it every time though. My friend from Japan got me 4 for only $12 total ^___^ so that was good.

Can anyone recommend or show me a few nice pictures of guys with:

short/medium hair at the top but long sideburns.

I want to keep my sides because they keep my face warm tongue.gif

But I only have purple gatsby moving rubber at the moment and it's not doing the job because I ordered the wrong one (should have ordered green or gray).

but grey isn't clay. it's still wax >_<.
from my experience... doesnt matter what type of wax or material... u need hairspray to finish off whatever you do.

anyways, got a trim... growing my hair out again... i regret cutting it short last time. also redyed my hair black haha...

I think it could work, you already have the sides basically for it , all you have to do is let the back of your hair grow out some more .
