straightener only?no wax or gel?

you'll need wax to show the layers more and hair spray.

i use warm/hot air to dry my hair, but it makes my hair a bit dry/hard at times. i hate my hair dryer, i liked this one i used in a hotel in Hong Kong, it was a weak hair dryer (as in doesn't blow hard), but for some reason it made my hair really really soft.

another question

how do artist straighten their hair in your side..(like this one)

http://x82.xanga.com/b5ab65201873341356292/b25853758.jpg

coz mine tend to curve..
but mine is much shorter..
when my hair in my side become much longer will it be straight naturallY?
sorry for my bad english..
cant express wel..

Well, if your sides are really short, it'd be better not to straighten it, it'd be too hard to straighten - might burn yourself
try using wax/hairspray/gel to flatten the sides

When your sides get longer, it wont necessarily become straight, but it MIGHT be straighter
but even then, still use a straightener if you want it to be straight

your hairs very similar anyway, just ask for more layers, but keep the length and tada! you have flat hair, but still looks nice

lol, well try blow drying from a distance, put your arm out a bit further away from your hair, or maybe there's a power level?
even so, try blow drying for a shorter length of time, it doesnt really matter on the blow dryer, it matters on how you use it - as with everything

most blow dryers should have power levels, if it doesnt just try the options i gave you

p.s
well im australian, so about the "side fringe" thing
i came across some other countries that use the word "bangs"
so im guessing "side bangs" are the same as "side fringe", just depends on the area you live in

Yo. I've been stalking this thread for about a week now, hehe, registered a few days ago for the sake of viewing more posts per page tongue.gif

Anywho, me mum wants to chop my hair today, or at least before monday. /me requests pointers on what would be a good hairstyle or whatever. I haven't used wax in a year, or any hair product other than shampoo and conditioner (yey honey almond >.>), so pretty nub at all this stuff, heh.

Just woke up an hour ago or so, and took some quick pics. Haven't done anything to hair (usually I'll just run it under the tap and dry it off before going out or whatever)

Sorry for the lack of clarity, still woozy from yesterday, hehe (thumbnail'd so I don't rape the page ;x)

Didn't shampoo the hair before sleeping last night, so that might account for it sticking ish. It did dry, though.

...I think that's all the relevant information i can provide. dunno much of anything else. kk pls advise biggrin.gif

my brother went to chop some of his hair off, he came back with a terrific hairdo, he looked completely destroyed.

^what are you saying? that he had awesome hair, but he looked..? dead?
whats that got to do with hair?
UNLESS you're being sarcastic, as to say he came back looking destroyed with a crappy haircut lol

i would like to see it too..sometimes it may look bad on him, but it may look nice on someone else's pov unless it is extremely bad. Because the first time i got my haircut, personally, i didn't like it i was just in denail and saying i like it. But after everyone's comment about my new haircut, i got the hang of liking it even more and it boosts a little of my self esteem. Anyways, we could give advice on how he can work with it.

oh yeah alice nine. show a pic of your hair as well..ithink it might be asymetrical (sp?) the whole long sides on one area and short in the other side. Also with the whole puffy hair on one side and kinda less puffy in the other. XD sorry if it sounds confusing @_@.

I had a haircut today and it was absolute crap. Stupid old hag, she obviously doesn't know how to cut beyond shaving sides with a ceral bowl. Old people shouldn't cut hair. ARGH. Good thing they didnt cut it too short, I'm going back to my old salon and do it right. Old people. pfft. (I'm in a terrible mood) laugh.gif

Okay, so I found some ideas for a new hair style for me.
I was wondering if I could get some opinions though~

Here's the style I was seriously considering (I also really like the color...) :
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/nanne...lbum3/file2.jpg

This is another I really liked (it would really well with the natural wave of my hair) :
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/nanne...orks_084429.jpg

Here's what I look like:

Unfortunately, I would look on Bombhead for more, but I don't have a Korean SSN... Sucks. But I managed to find these that I like. haha

Anyway, do you think these styles could work for me?

you can get a cheap straightener for about 30 dollars :D
but i suggest you dont get that, it'll eventually make your hair really dead and ugly

$200 ghd ones are really good, but the problem is the cost =/

LOL, some old people do know how to cut hair, they just have their own period of time, where a particul style they learnt was "cool"
My step aunties father is about 60, he cuts hair really nice - but the only problem is he doesnt listen to some people when they say "leave this part i want it to grow"

depending on where you live, you dont have to get a haircut from korea for your hair to look nice if thats what you wanna do with your hair.
there's also tons of hair salons in some areas where koreans/japanese live
whereabouts do you live?
if its melbourne i can direct you to some places x]

as long as you know how to do it (:

straighteners could really help
you have heaps of potential hairstyles with your current hair
