ahh i got a bad haircut today. i was so stupid. i went in to a cheap salon (10$ for men's haircut) and asked for more thinning layering for like a japanese style. I was so clueless of what he was doing, he only made my bangs shorter and my back/top was still the same. Wasted 10 bucks for it. i should've brought a picture of what i wanted to get cut.

Id say go to a more professional hair salon if you dont mind spending 25+, thats what i do. 10 bucks doesnt do much.

thanks man! the first salon i went to is a 15$ to 20$ thinning layering haircut. whoa man those women there knew what they were doing. the one i went today recently is the 10$ which is only one guy. he did my hair today, swallowed my 10 bucks away >_<.

aw dam my mom's a hairstylist also and she doesn't want to do too much thinning/layering for me. the thing is she came home today and saw my new hair cut, she was just laughing her ass off. my hair looked like punk hair rather than fob hair. i swear i will never hit those "regular" salons that cost $10 or less hairdo again. i snuck out of the house to get my haircut because my mom doesn't like to do too much that's why.

I dont know why, but lots of asian guys look really bad with fob hair. They look like they try so hard to look like anime character or asian stars. Especially when they do not know how to maintain their hair. They should come in this thread more often and seek advice. I've encountered this corpulent guy in my school this morning and he had very bad skin and fob looking hair with too much wax infused in that mop. It's even worse when they wear fobby clothes that does not fit with their body type and very traumatizing when they try to act cute and take pictures with their hands rolled and put beside their cheeks. x____x

If you go to hobby conventions, you will see a whole lot of em. Quite a sight to behold of really. I mean not only will you have all "so great" crossplayers that don't fit the part of a character but they will try to super wax or gel their hair to become anime-like too. Nothing quite makes ur day until you see the hairy legs of a man with a mini skirt or a girl with armpit hair trying to act cool with broken japanese.

HAHAHAHAH I dislike a lot of cosplayers because they sometimes look nothing like who they're cosplaying, it's worse when a Caucasian does it to an asian character, and when an Asian does it to a Caucasian character

Yeah i agree. As much as I love jrock music. The hair is impractical. People should stop posting a bunch of hairstyles they wish they had or else its too much. Aim for one and stick with it atleast . Now it feels like its just a bunch of wannabes in here that want to look like ALICE NINE or Antique Cafe . sigh*

I just need to grow out my layers and bangs some (My hairs mostly long enough, down past my shoulders in the back, my jawline on the side) and then get a magic straight. Right now my hairs really layered and wavy.

Well that too , and people think its a miracle with just Gatsby in their hands. I have many friends with Jrock hair too. Thats what Im saying though , stick with one style and try to achieve it . Not just do half ass then switch to another hairstyle or else you are just gunna shoot yourself in the foot. But Im also saying that theres wayyyy too many in this thread that try to aim for Jrock style, now it feels really over-played. We can almost call this thread , Jrock Hairstyle Thread for Guys

if the top was a little bit longer, it'd be very similar to jrock hair.

it doesn't necessarily have to be as long as reitas (above).

takuyas (an cafe) hair is pretty simple, its about the same length, or a couple cms longer than the guys on the video, except for the mullet which is really long.
depends on on you style it as well.

Haha, I know, but i still have to grow it out more. And wavy hair suits my current haircut more than straight hair, because its so layered. When it is long enough though, i'm probably just gonna get a straight perm thing, because straightening my hair everyday takes too much time from my life lol.
