i remember using that method with the wax and using the towel to make it look natural... at first i thought i was the only one who did that. I usually use that method if i feel that i put WAYY too much wax...didn't know it helped other people hehehe.

i'm still in the proccess of my hair growing....geez 5 more months to spare heh.

yah sometimes if you get a little too much you ha veto do that too, or blow dry it, either or really works well.
Na i know lots of people who do this way too.
But now i can just do it with my hands with my fingers spread out real far apart and it looks pretty good too, my hair's probably longer than yours though.

yeahh as you can tell my hair is a whole lot shorter than TOPs...especially my sides. blahhh...it will grow back again. other than that...umm TOPs top [lol] is naturally pointing foward. my top there is spiked up...i havent tried moving my hair foward like TOPs. i think i tried it once and it didnt work as well as i thought it would. i guess ill try it again someday.

oh yeah btw, i used a lil gatsby moving rubber here. finally found a use for it. whats mostly in my hair though is the xtah clay. i mite try using all moving rubber tomorrow since it gives more textures in my hair. the clay can do that but not right now, its a lil too short.

neways, wutcha guys think? im still kinda getting used to it since this is the shortest ive gone ever since 2 years ago.

anyone has an idea of a cool hairstlye that'll suit a dry ugly curly hair? my asian hair isn't like the other asians' hair... my hair isn't straight at all, it's dry, it's not soft nor smooth, and it doesn't fly around AT ALL when a normal wind blows or even if i try to swing my head. only when a crazy hard strong wind blows or if i headbang until my neck breaks. even if i headbang like the people in rock concerts, my hair would only move for literally about 1 cm from it's original place.

my hair is pretty long though... not really long, but decent long. i kinda like long hair better.

ahh i c...yeah your hair is pretty much longer then mine. It still short and its been a almost 2 months of growing it out. I'll try that method out once it grows out more hehe. Thanks for the tip

ryisakooguy: I never realized your sides are short..I still like the hairstyle though. How long do you think it will take for your sides to grow out? Maybe a month or 3? Still like your hairstyle though good job ^^


dhillman: I suggest since you have curly hair...your going to have to use a straightener everytime you want to style your hair. If you think your hair is long then get a layered cut from a asian salon, but if not then try growing it out in a couple of months.. For soft and smooth hair...try using Dove...not sure about what other people use to shampoo and condition to their hair, but it helps a lot =). For my naturally thin hair it makes my hair smooth and adds more volume to it =).

Does anyone have pictures of a really relaxed hairstyle? More specifically, a hairstyle for short-medium length hair that doesn't need or uses very little wax? I think I'm going to lay off using wax and try to just leave my hair be...but still have it looking decent? haha.

i think my hair is long enough now...well near long enough...I took out some long white hairs I had and measured them...they were around 3-3.5 inches in length. So another month or two I'll be having around 4-5 inches of hair.

only thing that isn't long are my sideburns...ahh =(
