I thought the book was lovely, as bit tedious at parts, but still lovely. I just hope the movie will turn out that way also, though I have my doubts as well.

The character is supposed to be tall, slim.. with long auburn hair, big gray eyes, and a really delicate face. Physically, I can't really think of an actress.. For some reason, I think Kirsten Dunst would be good, plus she's a great actress.

ok, didn't love the book, but love the casting choices. rachel mcadams would be PERFECT as clare... she's beautiful and she can totally play vulnerable. and eric bana... scruffy and handsome! great as henry. i'm looking forward to this.

okay.. i'm coming back after i read the book... i was attached to it the moment i bought it XD at times it got really... hm, raw and bare, but it's okay. the storyline made up for it ^ ^ at first, the whole traveling thing and different aged Henrys confused me so much and i had to constantly look at the dates and ages she had at the beginning of the chapters. but by the middle/end of the book it was all clear... i love how she connected it all.

the way she told the story, how she ordered the sequence of the flashbacks and time traveling events... it was brilliant. the only thing that really bothered me, REALLY bothered me, throughout the whole book, was gomez. I kind of see why he was a necessary character, but really.. he made me so annoyed at times. His attachment to Clare... hmph. the whole time he was lusting after her i wanted to yell at him and tell him "NOT GOMEZ AND CLARE, IT'S CLARE AND HENRY!" near the end when Henry dies (TT__TT), and Clare is emotionally breaking down it seems... and she and Gomez do the unthinkable, I was a little confused... does she have feelings for Gomez or does the fact that she said Henry's name prove she will always hold her heart for Henry? That scene just kind of... made the whole ending of the novel crash and burn for me. hm. wel actually, the ending was reborn for me with the last scene. that was beautiful TT__TT

HAHA. after i finished the book, I wanted to discuss the book with someone and clear things up, but no one around me had read it =_=;; anyways, I have no idea who would be an ideal Henry, but Rachel McAdams would be a great Clare!

I never felt that Gomez was a threat to Claire and Henry's relationship because i thought that they just loved each other so much that no matter how long Gomez loved her he would never get her. And Gomez (not that i really want to help him) was never like those evil men who are experiencing one sided love and will do anything to get the girl, like in those Kdarams . He helps Henry out a couple of times because he wants Claire to be happy. And that last scene where they almost do the unthinkable is to me a scene that shows me how much pain Claire was in, she didn't really see Gomez, she was so caught up in the moment that it was like being with Henry again. Good thing she realized before 'it' actually happened . Whew, that was a looong paragrah (for me).

Any word on when it might be out? or who will play the other characters?

though it was abit confusing to read .i have to keep track of how many clare and henry and at which age ..^^

but it was really such a beautiful tale of love ..that travel between time but is always there no matter which age they were ...i teared at the end of the tale..

i hope the movie turn out as good.

i loved the book too, but the movie never turns out as good as the book They might change up the scenes a bit, just like 'A Walk to Remember' totally different from the original novel. i thought the novel was better, plot-wise.
