i was looking through this krn newspaper today. and i looked over this picture with korean phones, and it had a website and i went on it and it showed all the krn phones that yu could get in america. haha well the site is :

they have a shop 10 mins away from my house in OC.
those prices listed are with a NEW verizon contract with probably a minimum montly payment of 60+ dollars.
they offer no warranty on korean phones.
just a heads up. the best way is to stick with carrier phones

That's the price with a new verizon contract with probably $60+ monthly.

I believe they don't sell online. You have to go to one of their locations and sign a new contract to get the prices listed on the website.

I have a friend who has a SKY (Pantech) U-160 phone from Hankookphone.com. What they are doing is very illegal because they are cloning ESN numbers from legit Verizon phones. Also, only SMS and regular cell calls will work. BREW applications will not work because of the ID's won't match. Also, the browser will not work since it was made for Korea's networks. It is a risk getting these phones but if you only care about the style and futuristic capabilities and don't mind losing some wireless features then go for it! My U-160 works like charm and I get a buncha people asking me "WTF where'd you get that!?" 
Btw, the prices on the website after heavy rebates.
Oh yeah, anyone with GSM phones (Cingular, T-Mobile) cannot use these phones as they are CDMA (Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, US Cellular) compliant only.

^Yup. It's true. My dad told me it's a felony if you get caught X_X Maybe he was lying to make me scared (I still got the IM-U160 though =_=). I found out picture messaging doesn't work today but it's not a big deal for me O_O
