hello, i need help about itunes
me and my sister owns an ipod
and when she syncs her ipod to my pc, my stuff gets screwed
and i just want her ipod to get banned on my pc
so how can i only allow 1 ipod to be recognized by the itunes?

Well in my experiences, when someone else puts an ipod to my computer, my playlist doesnt change. The only thing that changes is the ipod's songs which is played directly through the ipod. But if you sync someone else's ipod to my computer then it's their songs that get screwed not the comp's. Itunes just moves w/e is in it's library to the sync'd ipod. I don't know if you're just getting confused or if your itunes is weird.

maybe banning the other ipod totally is the best option

make sure u have the latest version of iTunes on ur comp first off. then plug ur sisters iPod in, click on ur sisters iPod in iTunes and the screen should show a summary of the info of the iPod. Make sure u have the box "Manually manage music" checked and the "Only sync checked items" box unchecked. that way she can have her iPod plugged in without having mess wit the library of music on ur comp. if u still need help, i can make screen caps.
