I would love to know too. I'm trying really hard to end up there. I go to a community college (hope to go there next January or Fall of 08) and would love to read comments too. Sorry i didn't answer your question. Maybe you can do an internet search on testimonials.

I'm not a student, but I've been there many times. I love going to the student union they have alot of food you could choose from, and theres a pool hall and arcade there also. There library is huge. The campus is just beautiful. There's also Stownstown mall 3 minutes walking distance from SFSU.

I think the only bad thing I've heard about SFSU is that its SUPER hard to get classes. A bunch of my friends were complaining that they will never get out in 4 years even if they tried really hard.

I have friends and relatives that go to SFSU, and I pass by there practically every day. The campus is REALLY nice, with trimmed grass, trees, and other green things. It's always bustling with students, and the Stonestown mall is like...three minutes away, which is also really nice.

^what supereggytoast said. Classes, I heard, close up fast. Some majors are reallllly impacted.

The library is HUGE!!! Their cataloging system is wack.

I doubt it - it's kind of like my situation at UCSD. We don't have as big a problem as SFSU but for me, I'm a freshman who's taking upper divison classes but since I am still lacking the units (at least compared to 3rd and 4th years -- I'm above freshman sophomore level), I had to waitlist for Biochemistry and Ochem III in the fall quarter... Unless you have tons of units stacked up from going to CC's during the summer and/or AP classes, I think it's unavoidable.

Anyway my mum's close friend went to SFSU. She and her husband both went to SFSU and they had an apartment near the school which was really nice. I remember the area was really pretty and it looked suburban to me... But it's been a couple of years since that so maybe it's changed O_O

I get priority reg...and will be graduating in 4 years...which is next year...

the school itself is very clean

it is a commuter campus so don't expect it to be a lively campus

we have a lot of protests and walk outs during the school year...

ummm jus message me what u want to know about the campus...

I'm graduating from there this December

SFSU is a very good campus. The environment is really chill and the people there are very diverse.

Good Luck smile.gif

I'm actually going to attend SFSU this month as an incoming freshman. Classes are hard to get, but not if you register early for your orientation (well, that I know of for freshman). It's a first come, first serve sort of deal. Know what classes you want, search them out on the class schedule on the site, just be overly prepared.

Going there this Fall as well. Don't know too much about how the campus looks, but most of the ppl here are saying it is a good University to attend. Transferring from SMC and will be a junior. Got on campus housing...and yeah it is hard to get classes. Couldn't get the classes I want, so I had to improvise and find classes that would help me toward learning a little about my interest. Trying to get into the DAI program. DAI = Design and Industry.

First day here. Unpacked and did some stuff on the campus. Pretty cool campus and I still have to find my classes. It is like 10pm and I'm bored out of my freakin mind. I don't have a t.v. yet, kind of weird because I rarely used it at home, but want it NOW. Good thing there is internet here (nice surprise). Want to start classes already....soooooooooooooo bored.
