well i heard u get normal white toothpaste and then clean it with that.. or something..
what are alternative ways to clean it and stuff or to remove scratches

I don't think using toothpaste and getting any type of liquid is a good idea for any electronic.

Buy special types of cloths.

Microfiber cloth or any other cloth works

Scratched LCD cannot be fixed.

People at anythingbutipod.com forum mentioned that they use a little bit of toothpaste and then wipe it on their mp3 player screen, but that's if it's slightly scratched. Nothing major.
