the problem is this, i have three accounts on my computer because i have to share. 2 days ago, after my sister logged off one of the accounts, i tried logging back onto my account. My account on computer is admin and password protected. I know the password and i don't remember resetting pw or even changing it. Everytime I tried and tried with different ways the password was set...even though i KNEW the password...and it worked before, but now it's saying how wrong password. I checked to see if there was something wrong with keyboard, but it types fine. I also restared computer and had it shut down in case it needs to cool down or something...but i find it odd. This never happened before. If there was a virus..the computer entirely will be affected right? But right now I'm on my sister's account and everything is working fine. Please help..my important files are in that account >_<
and i know im dumb for not saving files to usb thingy or cd/floppy etc. but my computer was fine....

^^ i'ld appreciate if someone with more computer knowledge could help me. >_o

Reboot into safe mode by pressing f8 key while before black Windows XP screen.

Log into "Administrator" account (Which isn't visible w/o being in safe mode) then transfer your stuff, and create a new account, or vice versa.

Then backup your files to CD later.

Try the safe mode H4NP1L suggested.
Also, check for caps locks.
