So I've been watching way too much jdorama and apparently I'm kind of sick
of listening to the japanese language (btw Im viet and I only like japanese,krn,chinese dramas)
and well I'm currently watching Ijuksa and its good and all.
But I feel the need for some romantic comedy because I need to laugh once in
a while instead of crying so much >.<

So I have some romantic comedies I liked and watched
It Started With A Kiss
Hana-Kimi (got sick of it, same plot but stretched way too much)

have you seen love on a diet ??
it's a movie starring andy lau and Sammi cheng
really good movie
you'll laugh like crazy and cry too
there're parts that are really touching and sad

watch it if you don't care about CRAPPY acting

WATCH "PRINCE TURNED INTO FROG" IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!!!!!! IT"S THE BEST TW SERIES EVER!!! I'm completely serious: It's a complete romantic comedy with dramatic moments that tug at your heartstrings (but it's essentially romantic comedy) with a lead couple sharing just about the most amazing chemistry!!!! WATCH IT NOW AND I'M NOT JOKING (WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?)!!!!!!!

I think you might like Proposal. It's a Japanese drama thats airring currently in Japan, but you should be able to find it with english subs. Check D-Addicts if you're a bittorrent user.

it is my fav. tw drama.
at times it made me cryy and some parts were hilarious. =]

smiling pasta, my lucky star are pretty good. ....summer x summer is funny...but i thought it was kinda...not that great. Devil beside you isn't bad but the acting isn't that great. The chemistry between rainie and mike is pretty great though.

Hmm..chinese? The only one i've seen is Fairy from Wonderland. lol. it has fights and murder mysteries in there though. but also has love and some comedy. lol. and.....isnt there a diff between chinese and taiwanese series? hmm..^^^ most up there are Taiwanese series.

Smiling Pasta, no doubt, if you want something thats romantic and a comedy, its a must watch, plus its a quick storyline, so its not long and draggy and it keeps you entertained, lol the two main leads have so much chemistry, and everything about the series is sooo cute, i seriously love the drama like no other, its probably my favorite chinese series of all time. well put together, the casting is perfect, the storyline is kinda like full house, in that its about an average girl that falls for a superstar guy, but its REALLY different, and i actually liked it more. cute lines, funny animation, great series.

i fully recommend it.

you have cindy wang as a annoying, innocent and super dumb girl yet again
plot is bad
acting is nonexistant
AND it's a RIP OFF of Full house, which is such an insult to full house bc full house was actually GOOD
oh watch it if you don't mind the excessive whinging and 'big innocent eyed stares' made by Cindy

^ I'd have to agree... It sucked. I mean, the girl has 17 bfs and not one of them kissed her.

ISWAK dragged on a lot... It just got really slow. I never finished DBY, but it was okay from what I remember.
Prince Turns to Frog wasn't bad.. OMFG at some moments, but it's like that with almost any drama. xD
Maybe it's just me but I think TW dramas suck. And I haven't watched enough mainland or hk dramas to rate them.

In Love With a Girl (Ai Shang Qian Jin Mei Mei) -- I totally recommend this one. It's very short, only 13 episodes. I think you can find it over at D-Addicts with English subs. It's about a rich girl whose father has some problems with his company...and she's forced to give up her luxurious life. She's not a brat, though. In fact, I think she's kind of cute and has a soft heart. Yeah, so, she meets this really, um, nosy reporter...and the two constantly bicker, but the reporter actually cares about her a lot. It sounds cliched, but I think it qualifies for a romantic comedy. ^^

Corner with Love -- It's cute and kind of tearjerking sometimes, but I think everything is filmed in a romantic, beautiful setting. It's also at D-Addicts as well. The plot is kind of similar to the one above, except the girl is bratty. The guys in here are worth watching...Xiao Zhu and Dean Fujioka! ^^

one of the best, rainie and mike portrayed STEP siblings in this drama Rainie, a college student who has a crush on her classmate tried hard to write a love letter. Finally one day, she gathered up her courage and decided to give it to him. ALL BROKE HELL! One thing first, IT WAS THE WRONG PERSON! How could she make such a mistake of giving the love letter to the worst and also hottest guy in the school who was a one year junior. Since then, a series of torture follows Rainie, all apparently for Mike's amusement... until... something unexpected happens.

A very cute drama. Cyndi, a carefree girl who has a curse placed upon her that says that she cannot and will not ever be able to date a guy for more than three months. This curse coming true again on her 17th boyfriend who dumped her on the 30th day. On this sad day, Cyndi awndered through the streets sadly, only to be knocked over by a complete stranger. The weird thing is, when they fell, THEY FELL KISSING! It turns out this boy (nicholas) is the most famous guy in Taiwan. Their supposed "love life" transfered through the news... what should they do now?

actually tw dramas are the cutest things....the kdramas always get too draggy and soapish like....and plus they all basically have the same plot
....yet i still love them

smiling pasta: it really is the cutest thing ever. besides they didnt drag out their relationship till the very end....i only jus got annoyed w/ nicolas teo's chinese (lol)...its choppy...and too breathy?

prince turns to frog: another great series...and thankfully their chinese isnt choppy

devil beside you: hated the incest idea...loved the chemistry...hated the acting...yet i still loved the series

it's LAME. Don't bother watching it. I stopped at episode 16 because the story line was extremely stupid. I heard the ending sucks too.

And you know how there's usually a triangle love thing or whatever you call it. Well, there's a freaking square. The girl isn't even that great either.
