oh man. my period started. and prom is next weekend.
upside: i wont have my period during prom
downside: bloating!!!!!!
so i know drinking lots of water will help reduce bloating..
does anyone else have other suggestions to minimize the belly?!
also, what exercises would be good to keep pms syndroms on the downlow?

I heard that you can lose more weight through diet & exercise during your period as opposed to when you don't have it. I'm not sure though. I don't think it's a valid statement because I've tried and it's hard. I don't have enough physical discipline so my body feels "upset" when I do get all active during my period.

yeah. same thing definitely happened to me. my face looked like a melon during prom. not too cool.
just drink plenty of water and stay away from anything high in sodium. or actually, just stay away from salt in general :]
a person just retains more water during their period. thats why it's important to limit sodium intake because salt can make you retain even more water.
sounds weird but you need to drink more water to flush all that water that is being retained in your body out :]

Do powerwalk atleast 30min a day, it helped ME reduce the bloaty-ness .Lol

if you're period started wouldn't all the pains of your period be gone by next weekend? your bloating lasts long then o.O
just excercise, have some warm green tea, drink water, cut down on the salt intake.

definitely drink lots of water
but i find milk works way better than water for me
and also green tea too.
