I was just wondering what is your workout scheme at the gym?
I have my own and I want to compare and contrast with you guys.
I am a dude and I do muscular endurance.
Sorry that I do not know all the machine names
What I do:
1. Arm curls with dumbell hammers (35 lbs each, 12 reps)
2. Bench with the dumbell hammers (30 lbs each, 12 reps)
3. I do not know what this thing is called but I lay my arm on the bench and raise one of the weights on my other, as if I am raising my emergency brake on my honda civic
, it works out my triceps (30 lbs each, 10 reps, 2 sets)
4. I get a dumbell hammer on one hand and I bend on the side with that weight, to work out my obliques/hips (40 lbs each, 15 reps, 2 sets)
5. I go on the stationary bikes (5 miles)
6. I do number 1, 2, 3, and 4 again (less reps if needed)
7. Overhead/Military Press (110 lbs, 12 reps, 2 sets)
8. There is this machine where you work your muscles on your back. You just sit in it and push back (125 lbs, 10 reps, 2 sets)
9. Abdominal Machine, it has weights and you bend forward with it (110 lbs, 11 reps, 2 sets)
10. I get the medicine ball and sit on the ground and twist moving the medicine ball from side to side to work my obliques (7 lbs, 25 reps [turns], 2 sets)
11. Curl ups (75 reps on left/right side, 100 reps just plain forward)
12. (Sometimes) I go on this pull up machine that adds weight base on how much % you want to do of your weight (57 lbs, 10-12 reps, 2 sets [hopefully])
13. (Either or) I either go shoot some hoops at the court for 15-30 mins or sit in the sauna for 10-15 mins
I do this all in about 1hr - 1 1/2hrs
