Just wondering how you would deal with it.
I've thought about it and honestly, I don't know what I would do if I failed a class and didn't withdraw it ahead of time.
I know that once final grades are up, it's finalized on a student's transcript, but isn't there a way to "fix" that?
Like, withdraw it even AFTER the final grades are up?
Anyways, what would you do if you were in a situation like this?
Just deal with the F & not care or take it again another semester for a better grade or do something to get that F off your transcript, if possible?

take the final again. In my school.. as long as you get above a 2.0GPA, your eligible for a retake.
I don't have a choice with my courses.. i must take and pass them before i can get my degree. But hardly any profs fail ppl. after first year in my program. the first two years were the "weeding out" years.
*knocks on wood..
unless you totally don't know what you're doing. and don't do the hw/projects.
i think the first mark you get sticks on the transcript.. and counts for the final GPA? not sure..
