My friend is being stupid and wont post it up herself so im helping her.
im kinda worried about her,

i think its cuz after she saved this happened.. but she has rashes at her armpit area..
like its pink at some areas and she tells me its itchy.. blink.gif
when she wears deodorant it bothers her.
LOL so i told her to put vaseline there ph34r.gif and its helping but hardly..
are there any creams for her crazy.gif><?
i tell her not to wear deodorant but she needs it during the day in school and all. plus the weathers getting hot and people get sweaty..

I would go see a doctor and find out what's wrong to get the right treatment for it instead of trying different home remedies sleep.gif

obviously something in her deodorant is causing the allergic reaction. tell her to switch brands. and vaseline? errr what's the logic in that?

i think its the deodorant.....
i used to use Secret and even tho it never itched, it irritated the skin too much.
now my underarm skin is like dark. its really disgusting.

im using BAN now and i find it so much better

dermatitis?

Maybe you can buy some anti-itch creams.... go check out your local drugstore's supplies of ointments.

And refrain from shaving your armpit hair o.o There are other options...

Degree deodorant is a good brand too.

It's probably an infection--maybe from using a razor that was dirty. Anyways, if she still shaves afterwards, it'll only make it more irratated. Deoderant would of course irratate it. If I were her, I'd skip shaving in that area for maybe about a week or two weeks and moisturize with a good lotion like lubriderm.

sounds like the same thing as an allergic reaction I had to Dove deodorant awhile back. I kept on scratching at it, and I think they opened and got infected... but really: the same thing.

Tell her to skip irritating the underarm area for a week: that means no deodorant and no shaving (yeah, I know...). It should resolve itself on its own. And then tell her to buy new razors, go for a new brand (or at least stick) or deodorant, and new shaving cream. It may be a bacterial infection (highly unlikely, but still possible) and it might be contaminated on her current products. Has she used any new underarm products recently (new shaving gel? new razors? new deodorant?).

Yeah, it's annoying... but hey. If she's really uncomfortable, for the time being tell her to go out and get those all-natural deodorants (like Tom's of Maines) if she's worried about smelling nasty and use it as sparingly as possible. Like only when she absolutely has to (like before gym class or something). The anti-perspirant will DEFINITELY irritate her rash though. You can always buy hydrocortizone creams to help the itch. If the rash doesn't start to go away after a week of staying away from all products that she normally uses, definitely bring it up with her doctor. I'm sure she/he can prescribe something stronger.

is that medical advice?

just because you took it doesnt mean that she can take it. all rashes are not the same. plus you dont know if she has other conditions or medical problems which she cant take benadryl for.
