[Jinju, “I almost became a member of S.E.S”]



Was there a chance when “S.E.S” almost became “J.E.S”?

Singer Jinju recently revealed that she almost became a member of “S.E.S”. She was in high school and she used to accompany Bada to a Karaoke after meals. A manager suddenly entered the room, presented a card and said “I am scouting for the members of ‘S.E.S”.

However, Jinju’s mother opposed to the idea and she never got into the female group.

“If I joined, I would have been in the position of Shoo and the name of the group would have been ‘J.E.S’”, Jinju said.

Currently, Jinju is busy as a “Professor singer” in a university.

I can't imaging anyone to replace any member of S.E.S. So I can't imaging JinJu replacing Shoo. Eventho I've never heard her singing and she might be a friend of Bada, but I love Shoo. =]
Each and every member of S.E.S. has their own unique. 8D
Shoo is goofy, fun. Eugene is pretty, while Bada is the talented, sweet girl.
And did Jinju said if she joined then S.E.S. would be J.E.S??? O__O uh...OK! What makes her think that her name would be put in first??? How about S.E.J? Bada should always be FIRST! She's the best girl-band leader everrrr. xD
This is the PAST already, the girl should get over with it already, stop day dreaming LOL!

i dont think she came out directly to confirm this.

it was a tv program like a true or false game, and it was confirmed there.

I believe I've read quite many articles about this already. This is not the first one I've seen.
It's not like I dislike her or something. But I think she shouldnt use someone's name to push herself up. Well good luck to her.

Jinju in S.E.S would have been interesting. As big of a fan I was of Shoo, I think if Jinju was in it, the group would have been just as successful.

Why would it be "J.E.S"? On some of SES's albums and their official site, they have "Sea. Eugene. Shoo." It would have been S.E.J. But really, if she was in there, the group would have two singers who would have (probably) out-shine Eugene while the original SES would have all different/unique qualities.
