Ahhhhh u voiced out a point i wanted so much to say but couldnt put into words. Yes, I was totally annoyed too. I really felt bad for AJ here. I mean really way to rub it in ur face, after just the life and death thing. Then suddenly poof like nothing ever happenned. I saw how oblivious and callous XT was being. Let's say too much drinking aside. It was like no AJ was even there.
After she realized who DK was, ughhh.. its like she turned all puppy dog. Before, she was this tough girl and sassy one. Always bickering and showing she could handle stuff from the 3.

Also, doesnt she realize after what's she's doing that she will give off the i like DK vibe. Plus the hair thing. That makes it even worse. I think she might have those feelings also. Naturally, I love MD more!! hahahha

I also wait in dread for ep10, it doesnt look hopefully. I hope Xt will get some sense knocked into her. I loved seeing the 3 boys together again.

Hmm... looks like I'm one of the few people in the minority here. I don't really think Xia Tian did anything wrong. Yes, he took a bullet for her... but that shouldn't mean she's indebted to him for the rest of her life. It would be out of character and really odd if she suddenly stopped caring about other people, just because she'd be afraid of upsetting Ah Jiang or making him jealous. It's not as though she thanked him for saving her, then ran off to flirt with other guys. She was with him the entire time he was in the hospital recovering, and even got to spend some time alone with him as soon as he was released.

Naturally she's excited to learn that the man who helped save Ah Jiang's life, is a childhood friend. DK and her were obviously very close when they were children... she was there for him when he really needed someone, and they have a lot to catch up on and to reminisce about. And it's not like she was the only one... her father was just as excited and enthusiastic when talking about the past. Sure, I feel bad for Ah Jiang since he's obviously uncomfortable (anyone would be) but that doesn't mean Xia Tian is wrong for being nice to her friend. It is her house after all... if she can't entertain a guest there, then where can she? I think the only reason people are so upset is because it's obvious that DK's going to be an obstacle for her and AJ later on... but remember: Xia Tian doesn't know that. Right now, she just thinks she's found an old friend who also had a huge role in saving Ah Jiang's life. She obviously loves Ah Jiang... that's not going to change just because of a childhood crush.

Also, she's known Ah Jiang all her life; he took a bullet for her. She knew DK a week; he gave her a firefly. They really can't compare, lol...

Plus, I love seeing Ah Jiang jealous... the parts where the arrows were piercing him were really cute! And now that I think about it, he has good reason to worry. When he was a spirit and was talking to Xia Tian, he told her:

"I hope that you can find a person who loves you and whom you love too. You should not treat him the way you treated me. You must behave like a real girl: smart, gentle, obedient. Don’t hit him. Otherwise, he will also say that you are unreasonable." (taken from Asian Fanatics)

Yet, here's this guy who obviously likes her... and he doesn't care that she's rough, or unreasonable, and they have a history that's separate from him. He's feeling insecure and threatened... and it's perfectly natural. But of course, we all know he has nothing to worry about: we saw how broken up Xia Tian was when she thought she lost him. Heck, HE even saw! And feelings like that don't just suddenly go away...

I don't understand Chinese, so until the subs come out, I'm only going on what I gathered from their expressions and the short summaries at Asian Fanatics. But I'm not worried... so I'm enjoying the opportunity for Ah Jiang to feel threatened and possessive. It'll make him step up his game, and prove his love even more! (Not that you can get any better than taking a bullet for the woman you love, lol). Although, honestly, I'd rather the threat be a girl, and that Xia Tian had to fight for Ah Jiang instead... but I'll take what I can get. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take this!

I have not yet seen Ep 9...but I'm really looking forward to it, esp the kissing part and the part of AJ getting jealous.
Can't comment much on XT's obliviousness to her surroundings..I'll have to wait until I watch it..hehehe..

Honestly, I had thought I might enjoy seeing a jealous AJ because he did win XT’s love too easily, considering how callous he had treated her before. I guess I got more than what I asked for it backfired and I am totally not enjoying this

Again, my feelings are not stem from the fact that I think XT is indebted to AJ; that’s not even the basis of my argument ( <-- I hate using that word, I don’t think we’re arguing )

I just don’t like the way she treats DK; compare that treatment to Bulu and FW, who are also her guyfriends. But then again, she has a soft spot for DK because she did had a crush on him and had designs toward him when they were young; maybe that accounts for the difference in treatment?

And like ajewell said, maybe we’re feeling threatened because we know DK’s going to come in between them, while XT is not aware of this fact

Anyway, I’m not making any sense because I have mixed feelings about this That's why I'm reading all posts and opinions to see both sides.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the director has in store for us…I hope we’ll get to see AJ’s courageous, brave, and stubborn qualities again; and this time he’ll use it to win XT!

In my personal opinion DK is not a simple character but I can't think of anything negative right now... he would play a big part in the start of a new problem since the gun situation has already been resolved. There's just too many unexpected things happening that I can't predict what will happen next

Most of the fault, though, I think goes to the scriptwriter and production crews because they overdid the 'jealousy' plot.

I read this review from Sanlih forum and this guy got some good points.

(1) Considering how XT has stayed by AJ's several days taking care of him and even stayed overnight with AJ in his ward, it really was insignificant how XT ignored AJ for 2 to 3 hours to drink with an old friend. She was with him the whole day even.

(2) Throughout ep 9, it was obvious in XT's thinking aloud lines and her conversations with AJ that she was very grateful to DK for bringing AJ back to life and returning AJ to her. And it also turned out that he is her childhood friend. Hence, she was very friendly towards him.

(3) Most of the things she said, and the fact that she couldn't pay much attention to AJ, was because she was drunk.

(4) XT and AJ have been seeing each other everyday and XT has always behaved like a tomboy and hanged around with other guys like she is a guy. And AJ was never jealous before, so how would XT knew that AJ would be jealous now. Like all new couples, they have to communicate and let each other knows their feeling. Just like what XT tried to do with AJ before they entered her house.

(5) The person who asked DK to stay overnight was XT's father, but AJ was upset at XT nonetheless, and the audience must have been affected too.

In the ep 10 preview, there was a scene in which XT told DK she wanted to be with AJ since she was 12. I guess that clear up all the misunderstanding that XT was being ...indecisive?

I think the discussion here, tho only comprising few comments - are more harmonious and rational.. (compared to Asianfanatics)
Some ppl just can't take negative comments.. and it's irritating, because they tend to undermine the very basis of what public forums are for, expressing your opinions.
Wasn't really comfortable with how ppl took to the comments on unhappiness over XT's obliviousness...it's just so blown out of proportion..

for those not favoring XT's actions, they should try to understand why she's doing what she is doing (that's what i'm aiming to do )
for those not favoring AJ's actions (yes, some ppl are getting annoyed with his 'jealousy'), try to understand why he's feeling the way he is
put ourself in their character's shoe and i think we will be able to appreciate how well and convincing they are carrying their roles

I'm alright with the ratings altho they do somehow reflect how popular the drama is..but I guess Wu Zhun's attraction's more alluring..sighs..

i tried watching this series..but i gave up on the 3rd epi..im a bit disappointed..maybe because it was bit high schoolish drama..i guess i miss my PTF couple..i think they r more suitable playing mature characters..hopefully they will collaborate again in another series...hopefully more of mature characters but also a romantic comedy..

hmmm reading all the comments on XT and AJ.. well i can understand the points on XT and on AJ..
i try to make myself see both sides.. but for me I feel as if I see more of AJ's side of the equation more clearly...
i appreaciate that QE and MD are doing their best to portray these feelings..
it's just no matter how i try to analyze it, i know AJ has been dense before too but after becoming a couple
suddenly this new guy from Xt's past appears and she becomes all mush..
i know she has liked him in the past, but i also think that in that light you just got a new boyfriend
so it feels odd that you become like that in front of him... about the past that u liked him and stuff that was a tad overboard..
i can get u miss him and are grateful to him... but it feels as though ur being insensitive and wishy-washy..
i mean its not even that way for the other two...
i wouldnt be suprised if DK will show his emotions too and vice versa..

i feel as though, this drama was better in the start(earlier eps) storywise.. it was more witty and spunky.. and fun to watch...
after so much change, i can only see the MingEn chemistry ( i dont complain about the kissing scene either!!)

Hei there Carla, I'm glad at least that you gave the drama a try. Not every drama can attract ppl's attention..hehehe.. same like what happened to WWL with me..
But maybe you can just download Ep 7 and Ep 8 to watch, cos both eps were the best eps out of the drama..And the script totally went for the better after Ep 5 onwards because a new scriptwriter was recruited to replace the old one. A lot of ppl were not satisfied with the beginning eps as well, but from Ep 5 onwards, everything just went so well.. Ming En's tandem was just explosive! Just Ep 7 will make you go awwwwwwww....so sweet..
