hey can anybody recommend any older K-pop singers...not really trot style, but more on the Pop/ R&B genres..kinda like Insooni?
probably ones who's careers started in the 80s or late 70s.... thanks.

Yeah sorry to piggy back off you Juicy but I'm looking for info on 90's groups even one hit wonder such as Two-Two...They did the song 'One and a half' I have been listening to it allll weekend...well really Kim Ji Hoon is a cutey but please respond.

I think R&B genre did not become popular in k-pop until late 90s.
As for strictly pop, older singers I can think of are mostly ballad singers:
Cho Yong Pil
Lee Moon Sae
Kim Kwang Suk

I think R&B genre did not become popular in k-pop until late 90s.
As for strictly pop, older singers I can think of are mostly ballad singers:
Cho Yong Pil
Lee Moon Sae
Kim Kwang Suk

totally agree with what edward1849 said...I think R&B didn't become popular until the 90s.
Lee Moon Sae is great!! I love his songs. The 3 that edward mentioned are all great singers.

Lee Ji Yeon- lol she was so cute! she really is giving me Tiffany's mall rat vibe..love it (altho her voice isn't the best..i like it

Lee So Ra- I REALLY LIKE HER VOICE. very soulful...she really looked like she was feeling her song (i youtubed believe)
Lee Seung Hwan -- youtubed you to you...oh man..i really like this song..and the video is can't-take-my-eyes-off-it material...thanks!
Lee Hyun Woo- reminds me of Elvis...i don't know the name of the song i youtubed, but he's a boxer in the vid..eh..it was kinda boring..good voice tho..
Lim Jae Bum -OMG his voice is sexy. end.of.story. i love his voice...vid i youtubed: go hae. so much soul in the performance...loved it. again thanks!!
Lee Sun Hee- this woman has some pipes on her...damn!! i was grooving with her foreals...kinda reminds me of Tina Marie...love it.
Kim Kwang Suk- his voice is very sweet. i was reading the comments...did he commit suicide
