They do. And except for when she slept with Nate when she was drunk and drugged out of her mind, she has been nothing but a great friend to Blair.

well serena was really nice to blair when jenny rose up to power for a brief moment. it was before the writers strike when blair was alienated by her friends, i think someone dumped yogurt on her or something, and serena tried to make blair be nice to jenny and stuff. also wayyy early on when blair was a model for her mom's fashion line serena tried to make the photographer more interested in blair (because she was a little stiff and boring for him) by making her laugh and just trying to be silly with her.

i'm kind of forgetting all of the nice things serena did for blair but overall serena was really supportive of blair. she always appeared to be the more optimistic and upbeat person. even her style was more laid back and casual compared to blair's formal over the top trendy stuff. i think it she was the counterweight to blair in terms of serena being really friendly (since she was dating dan, a "nobody" according to blair) and blair being really sneaky and manipulative.

but now the season has taken a turn as old serena is back. it's very refreshing seeing an unappealing serena. it makes her more interesting. remember when she was a bad girl before and when she started dating dan she changed into the good girl? well now they broke up and S is on the prowl. fabulous!

and the pictures from justjared of serena kissing that new guy yum he is cute.

For me, what makes Blair more likable is that although she's a pinkberry , she really does cares for her friends and goes out of the way to help them. The whole Georgina thingy was a good example.Let's not forget her helping Nate in the Catherine incident(if it had not been sabotaged by V).

i just read the spoilers on page 109. WOW...just wow. i can't wait for the next ep to come out.

first season i liked S more but during the 2nd im beginning to see what B is truly like. Also S faking the "good girl" image was kinda boring.

NOTHING -- she just got rid of the one person who was threatening
to hurt her best friend, Serena.
What did she get out of the whole thing with Katherine/Nate?
NOTHING -- she got Katherine to agree to pay for the Archibald's debts..
Blair didn't have to do this. Nate is equally RUDE to her (he cheated on her with Serena!)
What did she get for forgiving her best friend for

NOTHING.

BLAIR NEVER DID ANYTHING JUST SO THAT IT BENEFITTED HER.
She did it because she cares about her friends a lot more than she
cares about a lot of the other superficial stuff.
