i LOVE dan <3. Penn's such a laidback kind of guy and his characters are just to die for . I loved him in John Tucker.
Blair is just gorgeous. The girl playing her totally fits the role of gorgeous but menacing.
Jenny wasn't what I expected her to be..
And Chuck can look quite good looking at times, but in some angles he looks kind of like a lion lol..
Nate.. man, he should keep his hair down. His eyes are piercing.
they changed his character quite a bit though =s. Same with Jenny.
I can't wait for the next episode <3. CAT FIGHT!

btw. Serena's mom was talking to Chuck's dad. She was confronting him about making their relationship public or something while Dan overheard ^^

umm, to clear things up, serena's mom and chuck's dad are seeing each other, but i guess now they're hiding it since it would be kind of a scandal if it gets out (since clearly she's gone through her share of wealthy men).

i liked this episode--it reminds me of the brunch thing they have in the books but with a little twist. if anything, i wasn't sure about the whole serena-dan thing, it seems a little too fast. they went on ONE date and suddenly he's the scorned lover? that doesn't really make sense. also the whole "their world is not for me" thing... he's only been there for like two days. i'll let things slide this time but i hope they'll smooth this kind of details out eventually.

one thing this episode makes me realize though is that it seems serena is the main character of this gossip girl, not blair. also, i suspect they're approaching it from an angle that focuses on the dan-serena romance and how dan and his family will fit in serena's world, with blair being the resident biotch. i honestly hope they WON'T go that route, not because it deviates from the books, but because then it really WILL be the oc set in the east coast, which is an accusation i've been trying to defend this series from since its conception.

i honestly hope we'll see more of blair, maybe let her take the limelight eventually. i think even in this interpretation she can be a great character, certainly fresher than serena, who right now feels like a copy of marissa. i also hope they'll do the jenny-eric thing soon, because i'm imagining them together and they look sooo adorable.

i love this show..i don't know why, but i think that sarena looks a little bit like marissa from the O.C. haha from my perspective though..but yeha while i'm watching this show i'm also reading the books..the books are pretty good also...i think you guys should read it too =) i got hooked onto dan...he's getting more handsome each time i see him..lol i can't wait for the next ep. though! excited! why why why did it have to end with the two of them parting ways like that!..err..haha
