i read a couple of spoilers in another forum from some guy who works at the costume department. he gives that forum the inside scoop from time to time on what to expect for the next episodes to come.

i just had to say "awww" when i read some stuff on chuck and blair. cute flashback scenes and a couple of cut scenes need to be shown! grrr.

anyway, about tonight's episode. liked the fact that it ended well with chuck and there wasn't much blair and chuck interaction. makes them getting together even better :]

but i missed the parts when chuck went to lily to ask her for something and they were talking. and when lily was talking to jack. anyone care to fill in?

that jack and lily thing was intense but so random.

This ep is ehh... I can't seem to get into the new storyline about the teacher, but it's nice to see Blair plotting again. =) I like her line about going black ops on the new teacher's ass at the end of the ep. I also think it's good that Chuck and Blair get their own individual issues to work out right now, but I did love how there was still that semi-Chair moment when you see Blair in the background running out of the opera to find the new teacher juxtaposed with Chuck at the bar, despite their lack of interaction. Those little details and hints of a sorta star crossed love is just the right amount of Chair for me right now. =) I'm also glad to find that I actually like Lily in this ep, helping out Chuck and all. Dan and Serena on the otherhand??? Boring me to death.

and the Queen of Revenge is back; thank god B is back, her supportive and sweet thing was really out-of-character and awkward to watch, though I felt sorry for her about the wife thing =\

I agree that Dan and Serena / Lily and Rufus is kinda boring =S I really couldn't care less about their relationship right now =P

Whereas CHUCK is like THE star of the show this week I love him hehe* ^^
When he punched Jack and when he made up with Lily... you can see how much he's grown and matured. He really deserves the company back AND BLAIR ^O^
Can't wait to see next week's ep... I'm really hoping for some Chuck and Blair and possibly SOMETHING with Jenny/Nate/Vanessa (cuz they're so dead right now o_O)

What is going on with GG? This week's episode made me realize that the only character I like anymore is Dorota At least she's consistent.

I really despised their whole Yale sub-plot. It's completely unrealistic and discouraging for the 15-year-olds who watch the show and haven't applied to colleges yet. Josh Schwartz should've changed Cecily's original storyline, she's a horrible writer anyways.

Rumor has it that Nate and Blair are hooking back up at the end of this season. I guess Blair can attract only two men in the whole wide world: N and C.

I just saw the preview for next week and it was just clips from the old episodes. However, it emphasized alot about the whole "truth" about Lilly and Rufus's child. I think the next episode will be about Andrew haha

Oh is it? I'm actually still very much attached to GG, and totally excited for the series.

My main qualm is that I'm actually liking the main characters less and less and instead took pleasure in the smaller character, like Eric who was too cute in this episode, or Lily who was totally awesome and so Lily-like, or Nate and Vanessa who were content to fight about seats in the background. Those are the things that actually gained my attention more.

Dan and Serena keep me bored, and now they're throwing a Mary Kay Letourneau storyline for Dan? Oh geez. And the issue of their parents being together, sure it's weird, but it just sounds to me like they need yet another reason to not be together. Rufus and Lily don't seem to be perturbed, why do they have to take it so seriously?

At the beginning of this episode, I remember remarking to myself that I loved how they handle Jack situation, but then things went off tangent and messed it up for me. I wanted them to oust Jack slowly but surely, without him even knowing it. So it was with huge disappointment to know that his exit was reduced to a sexual harassment plot device. I was really liking the dynamic between Chuck and Jack and the resulting Chuck and Lily 'relationship'. Plus, Jack is actually a great character, too bad he had to be booted.

IKR?! Most (all?) of the characters no longer have any sort of character or story development.

Nate and Vanessa: boring. who even cares about either of them anymore?
Dan and Serena: on again, off again, on again. boring.
Lily and Rufus: boring, unless they somehow find out that their son is still alive.
Jenny/Eric: ......who? haha

Blair is mildly entertaining still. She's the only one with an apparent personality.

I wish they kept Jack around longer. and also, bring back Georgina. All the evil people need to come back and spice this show up.

i love the new school teacher. what she did for blair and what blair did to her was absolutely unforgivable. i'd do the same thing if I were in her shoes.

i love season 2, i'd love it more if they killed off Vanessa =)

^ I thought Blair's "genius idea" to get back at her teacher was totally lame. It didn't live up to her evilness, but I guess we'll see better revenges next episode. The teacher (forgot her name) should not have accepted Blair's offer *cough bribe* in the first place and Yale would not give a hoot about Blair's personal life. Buuutt.... this is television and so far from the truth.

It's not like that at all. Everything from the SAT administration to the admissions criteria, notification... all completely off (I applied to Ivys ). In real life, Blair would be the ideal candidate. She's not a genius, but her family's prestige and her school record are good enough to get her in. Serena would have to be of at least Keira Knightley fame to be even noticed by Yale. Yale's deans would not read Page Six crap.
