Random notice: When Blair and Chuck was outside the modeling building, was it Sheena (from ANTM season 11) who came out?

Serena was quite annoying in the first episode of season 3.
She used to be my favorite in the show, but now Blair kinda took her spot.

Chuck & Blair. I love this couple, but I wish they'd stop playing "games" and just settle down and be serious. Like I loved the last scene of them together. "I'm not Chuck Bass without you."


Everything else was kinda boring.

Yeah, to be honest, I didn't find the first episode of Season 3 to be all that amazing either.

Anyone else find Dan's character to be really boring now? I miss him back in the old days.

Honestly, Gossip Girl has lost that spark it had in season 1. Season 2 was just a mess of the "will they, won't they" crap and a mix of inconsistent storylines. It's still an occasionally fun show but sometimes I feel I'm just watching it for the sake of it. IDK. :|

tbh, the premiere was slow. Chuck/Blair was...meh. Cute. Nice, I guess. I think the only thing I really did enjoy was Carter/Serena. They have great chemistry, imo. I'm totally 'shipping them. Am I the only that feels this way? D:

The next episode seems interesting, though. I always love to see Blair go up against Georgina. It's always amusing. xD And I'd love to see Dan/Blair as friends. I love their banter together.

One more promotion for Episode 2, "The Freshman." Dan & Blair interactions are always cute... I just don't see the romance. And woaah, Vanessa got a huge makeover. What's with the drastic change?

Episode 1 was slow, but partly because I was awaiting Blair's reaction to NYU, which is the next episode. GG had an episode on summer vacation too, last season. These first episodes are important, to set the stage for what's to come. ( And I do hope it's better than season 2. )

^ i knowww. Vanessa's new looks is ugly! Well, at least her HAIR is. It looks like she doesn't even brush it and it reminds me of some homeless frizzy hair. Even though she's supposed to be the poorest out of all of them, do they really have to make her look so "poor" and ugly? She's pretty in real life and I wish they wouldn't make her look so ugly >_>

Oh and eww, D&B together? They wouldn't look cute together.

Though, I will have to agree about the comments about Vanessa's hair. I don't mind the character unlike most of the GG fandom, but my god they need to give her a better style. D:

Oooooooo I didn't catch that but I remember which episode that is. It's somewhere near the end of the second season where Lily is getting a flashback and I doubt that's the father to be honest ... but could be.

But aside from that I don't know about you guys but I'm PSYCHED for this monday's episode. I seriously LOVE the crazy, lunatic Georgina. Seriously though as messed up as she is, you know you just gotta love her. I don't know but I do. I would love and maybe not love it if she's my friend.

And omg the previous monday's episode made me cringe so much when I saw Chuck being so CUTE with Blair. djkaflfjdksla

Oh yea I remember that flashback episode. You do get to see Serena's dad. He was the big jerk.

I didn't really like the premiere THAT much, but as long as there was some Chuck and Blair, I'm okay with it ^^ DEFINITELY LOVEED that last part where Chuck says "I'm not Chuck Bass without you."

Looking forward to seeing more Chuck and Blair throughout the season!

Anyways, the next episode looks interesting, Blair's start at NYU is already quite rocky.... But VANESSA KINDA POPULAR!? ERRRRR.....

I kinda agree that Gossip Girl somehow lost a bit of a spark, the first episdoe was boring and blair's clothes are not as fun as it used to be. I don't like the dresses she had on the first episode. Serena is really weird, no wonder she had miscommunication problems with Dan. Nate is cute but I hope he should stop being such a serial dater-he slept with everyone in the show already except Jenny-lolz! I hope they have better plots and better fashions though.

^ I agree. Completely boring - I've always disliked the "summer" episodes. It pretty much upsets me that Serena keeps going backwards as a character, while everyone is growing (minus Blair/Chuck LOL). She's such an attention junkie.

I wish they would speed things up and get to NYU life already. I adore Georgina! & I want to see how Jenny goes about being the new Queen Bee / Hilary Duff<3. Gah, can't wait to see what's in store.

Out of all Gossip Girl seasons, I'm actually enjoying season 3. :]

I felt bad for Blair and that college party, I thought Dan was actually going to be nice to her.
Dan + Georgina = NOO, ew, ack!
I don't get the whole Nate + Southern girl thing. ToT;
The relationship between Blair and Chuck is so cute, I hope it stays like that too.
Too bad Blair has no one sticking up for her... Can't wait to see next week's ep!

they're like the main reason i watch the show now
but of course, this show is my guilty pleasure so i'm gonna watch it anyway no matter what happens

I just finished watching episode 1 of season 3.
It wasn't what i expected. It wasn't exciting as it used to.
It was kind of disappointing for me. I hope the next episodes get better!
